The media could not be loaded. I use this for my carnivorous plants. They tend to love it. There's a few twigs that usually come in it, but it's fine. You could just pick it out other than that.It's a great product.

Was a little worried reading some comments, but happy I did buy. I would say having a 120 gallon tank and a 75 gallon, I still have moss left. So you'll only need one of these and I sealed the rest for when I change out.

So when I bought this product I checked the weight vs volume because I am used to buying sphagnum by quarts. I actually bought another one just in case there wasn't enough. I was wrong. You get so much in this compressed brick. It takes 10minutes to expand and is very soft to the touch. Not alot of sticks and stalks inside. Pictures shows this package expanded inside a tall kitchen bag for comparison. This one package filled half of a garbage bag. Very impressed with price of this purchase. I would say I got my monies worth and then some.
