Description

The Best Fitness Power Rack (BFPR100) is an ideal combination of quality and value that lets you enjoy the same expansive weightlifting experience at home as in the gym. This weight cage is designed to help weightlifters fire up their workout safely and effectively, with two adjustable lift-offs and full- length safety bars for solo lifting. The 14-gauge 2-by 2-inch steel mainframe offers a robust 500-pound weight capacity, letting you use the machine for a variety of free weight and bodyweight lifting exercises. Use this workout cage for squats, incline presses, flat bench, shoulder shrugs, and more. Choose from 23 adjustment levels spaced 3 inches apart and customize your power rack with other Best Fitness components, such as the Lat Attachment (BFLA100), Dip Rack Attachment (DR100), and Folding Adjustable Bench (BFFID10). All barbells, weights, and collars are optional and sold separately. When assembled, the Best Fitness Power Rack measures 45 by 47 by 83 inches (L x W x H) and weighs 117 pounds. It is backed by the Best Fitness Three-Year In-Home , which covers the frame for three years and all other parts for one year.

    • Good Rack but some problems with delivery
Back Story Ordered this so I could train heavy at home without killing myself. The rack arrived on time but was missing the hardware you need to assemble it (bolts and one of the rack pins). I called the company and they apologized and said they would send out the missing equipment. That was on a Wednesday, They're not that far away from me so I figured I'd get the parts on Friday or over the weekend but did not. I really wanted to train on Monday so I went to Home Depot and spent $20 on the appropriate bolts so I could assemble this thing. Pros: I assembled the rack in about 20 minutes by myself. A second person would have been helpful but wasn't really necessary. The rack seems more than strong enough. I am not a 700lb squatter so the most I'm going to be putting on this is 400lbs but I have no worry about the rack holding that load. Honestly if you're moving that kind of weight you shouldn't be on Amazon looking for cheap racks. Cons: One of the safety rods doesn't line up perfectly, You really need to bang it to get it in and then yank it to get it out. The feel keep slipping off but I was able to fix that with a small amount of tape. At the end of the day I bought this to be able to lift heavy while being safe without spending too much money and this rack absolutely accomplishes that. As is always the case in life you get what you pay for. Since this is such a great deal I am OK dealing with the small issues that this rack has. I'm play hard and my gear is going to get chipped and dinged. That's fine by me because again, it's a weight rack not a sports car. ... show more

After reading the great reviews for this rack; I decided to give it a try. I do not regret my purchase. This was on my porch in just a couple days and it was perfectly packaged. I think this is the first piece of gym equipment that made it to my house without a single scratch or dent during shipping. Putting this rack together was super simple.     • Great Power Rack for Your Home Gym
Excellent product for the money, easy to put together, and does everything the more expensive models claim to do. I even bought a set of dip bars (Valor Fitness MB-A BD-7 Dip Handle Accessory Set) and they fit perfectly. I couldn't ask for a better power rack for my home gym - highly recommend it!

    • Much more sturdy then I expected.
This is excellent for the price. My main problems are that there is really no way to level it, so make absolutely certain your floor is sufficiently level. Despite that, I have had 300lbs (136kg) loaded on the bar catches with no warping, I have yet to drop the weight on the safety bars but they seem fairly strong and have supported at least 250lbs (113.4kgs) resting stationary on them. The chin up bar is nice and sturdy and supported me at 240lbs (108.9kgs) without having to be anchored to the ground, although I do have to bend my knees in order to fully lower myself at 6ft (1.83m). ... show more

    • A great budget rack
This has been a great buy for the price. It's been sturdy and is exactly the size I hoped it would be. I don't think it meets Mark Rippetoe's requirements for closeness of peg holes, but that's the sort of feature you can't expect in a $249 rack. The fact that delivery was included was extremely helpful to me because I don't have a car and therefore couldn't easily buy one from a store or warehouse. The packaging was very well done. None of the surfaces were damaged. They were well packed & protected. All parts were included. Nothing was missing. I thought the instructions were very clear. I am a senior citizen & was able to assemble this by myself. The rack is seems very stable. 2 adults weighing nearly 200 lbs have used the rack with no apparent wobble instability. The Best Fitness Power Rack (BFPR100) is strong, sturdy, cheap compared to other models, and built to last. From the time that I ordered, I received mine in the mail in as little as 3 days. Every piece was included, the box was intact with no visible punctures or damage, and the serial number was easy to find. Now, I did put this power rack together by myself, but if you can get someone to help you put it together that would be for the best. So far it is holding up well, but only time will tell how long it lasts. Be prepared to oil and clean the rack on a weekly basis so that it doesn't rust or dust. ... show more
