I have struggled with another brand that uses filters. I have to stand there and pull the filter up constantly. It takes me a good 10 minutes standing there messing with the filter just to get coffee through. This coffee maker is an absolute dream! I boil my water and pour over the coffee pot; it pours through as quickly as I can pour. And the taste and aroma are fabulous. Filter provides great flavor - Easier to clean than you might think

Love this for my pour overs. Notes: 1) CLARITY: If you use only the metal filter it lets enough oils and fines through to provide a rich flavorful cup (I love it), yet you can still get a nice clean cup if you are using a quality grinder and are careful when you pour to leave the fines in the bottom of the pot. A coarser grind helps. If you like a super-clean cup use a paper filter or maybe this won't be for you. If you like a muddy cup, just swirl the pot before pouring and you'll be in heaven. 2) EASY CLEANING: I thought this would be a pain to clean, but I have been pleasantly surprised! A simple rinse and quick dry with paper towel is all that is needed. I occasionally use soap, but most of the time just a rinse with hot water. Use a wooden spoon handle to carefully swirl paper towels in the bottom to wash the sides and dry all the water to prevent spots. It literally only takes a few seconds. I use only slight care not to get too much water on the outside, but it is not really an issue. The cork-like collar is water resistant and I have had no issues with water getting trapped under it or any problems whatsoever. I only remove the collar occasionally to make sure it's clean and it always is. Really....a quick rinse of the inside and dry and you're done. A breeze. 3) FRAGILITY: The pot does seem delicate and I doubt it will handle a hard bump, though I did whack it pretty good the first 10 seconds I handled it - and breathed a huge sigh of relief when it didn't break! I cringe a little every time I set it down on my granite counter and hear it strike, but so far so good. Be careful with it - you can't drop it and you can't bang it - it is what it is. Handle it with care and it will last. If mine breaks, I will buy another. I like the filter, the brew I get from it, the ease of cleaning and the capacity. I choose this over a $100 coffee maker

I bought a very expensive pour over coffee maker just like this one but it was taking too long to ship so I bought this in the meantime. It is so easy to use and gives me a perfect cup of coffee every time. The design is very smart and makes sure every grind gets saturated. I can also make several cups of coffee at once and the process is surprisingly very fast, and doesn't leave you with a weak cup. It's easy to clean, operate, and set up. I love this! Well when I got my new coffee maker in the mail I was so excited. I had high expectations since this cheap one was so good. I was let down! That coffee maker was not comparable to this one at all, I returned it immediately. This will be my new permanent pour over coffee maker that I use daily! ... show more

It’s a decent, basic coffee maker. It does what it’s supposed to do, but it isn't perfect. • Reliability: The glass feels a bit thin, so you have to be careful not to knock it against the sink. • Coffee Quality: It makes a clean cup, though the mesh filter lets some fine sediment through. • Brew Capacity: Holds about 3–4 small cups, which is fine for a morning routine. • Lid Functionality: The lid doesn't seal tight, it just sits on top to keep heat in. • Weight: Very lightweight and easy to pour. • Fit: The mesh filter fits well, but the cork band can slide around a bit when wet. I LOVE it! I bought mine in July 2025, and I have used it every day since then. I also use my Bodum bean grinder. PERFECT coffee every time, and no need for paper filters! Worth noting, I grind my beans to a fine grind, and there is still zero powder that passes through. Since we may be moving across the country soon, I thought I should put a new one in the cart and use the "save for later" feature, just in case of breakage. Absolutely love! Crisp clear coffee. Easy to clean (no more calcium cleanups!). Makes a perfect cup of coffee. Small and compact, which is perfect for my NYC apartment. I use coffee filters to catch the grounds for easier clean up. Holds the temp really well. I max out my tea kettle to the highest temperature and my coffee is super hot. Great coffee, SUPER FRAGILE…

Makes really good coffee, but if it gets bumps and falls over, it’s done. They break insanely easily. I have broke 3 just by accidentally bumping into it on the counter and it falls over and the top portion breaks off every time. They should make some kind of a stand for it so that it doesn’t fall over so easily. I wouldn’t buy it if it’s more than $20. Also get paper filters if you don’t like sediment in your coffee ... show more
