This has been one of my favorite accessories I’ve purchased for a car! I used it for grocery store runs, leftovers from a restaurant, water and other drinks for longer drives. It is absolutely fantastic. It cools down really quickly and I haven’t noticed any major battery drain on my Tesla.

I’ve been using this car fridge in my Tesla Model Y for almost a week now, and I’m really impressed. It fits perfectly in the trunk. The installation was extremely simple, basically plug-and-play. ⚡ Low Power Consumption After several days of testing, the power usage is surprisingly low. It doesn’t noticeably affect range, even when running continuously. 🧊 Great Cooling Performance & Large Capacity The cooling is efficient, and the internal space is much bigger than I expected. I haven’t been able to fill it up yet, even with multiple drinks, bottles, and cans. 📱 Easy-to-Use App The companion app is very intuitive and makes temperature control and settings adjustments effortless. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this fridge. If I have more long-term impressions, I’ll come back and update the review.

The first fridge that arrived was defective - the compressor was faulty, putting out a ton of heat and never able to keep the fridge consistently below 40° The customer service from Bodega was absolutely outstanding! They were very responsive and replaced the fridge for me immediately after some diagnostic work. The new fridge is far better - puts out less heat and cools far more efficiently: got it to 30° with it full of drinks within a matter of hours. The only downsides to these fridges are: 1. It does not do a great job of maintaining a cool temperature when not powered. 2. which is no fault of the manufacturer, is that for the Model Y Juniper, you must place the car in camp mode in order for the power to remain on, which is not only a nuisance, a potential security issue since the doors of the car do not then automatically lock.

I’ve only had the fridge for a day and it seems to work fine for keeping a cold temperature in it. HOWEVER, the app itself is problematic. Whenever I’ve connected the app to the fridge it will properly show the temperature and I can control the fridge from the app. BUT, the moment it disconnects from the Bluetooth connection on the fridge, I must reconnect it to the fridge anew each time. The app should remember the fridge Bluetooth connection and not require one to physically press a button on the fridge control panel every time you want to use the app for checking the temperature on the fridge. I want to give it a 5, but with this horribly disconnected app, I can’t.
