The media could not be loaded. This back and neck massager is the real deal! Great quality and construction, like other Bob & Brad products I’ve tried so far. It runs smoothly and quietly. I like the light pink color I got as it is more of a peach/dusty pink and subtle. There are 4 modes to choose from but this is basically forward or reverse motion and heat or no heat and it was easy to change between modes while using the product. There is the option to turn off the infrared heat, but I liked how soothing that felt and it never got too hot. Note that unlike a massage gun, the speed cannot be adjusted, and the unit must be plugged in to use but the cord is a good length and not too short. I will say that it gives a deep massage and you definitely feel it in the muscle and any knots you may have. Attaching the foam pad or applying less pressure make it less intense but I was a little sore the next day. It has a 15-minute shut off timer which is a helpful reminder. This massager worked GREAT for the hamstrings, IT band area, and calves areas that I tried it on also. Highly recommend!

The actual massaging action of this Bob and Brad Back Massager is good. Not nearly as strong as I would like, but still provides an OK amount of pressure. What I do NOT like is that it is very cumbersome and awkward to move around. If it had some sort of handle or way to grasp the unit for movability, it would be an improvement. ALSO - the button to turn the unit on is way too small. Plus, the cord is on the wrong side and is very inconvenient to me. If this unit came with a remote and a handle of some sort, it would be a HUGE improvement. Only giving it four stars because it does provide a nice little massage - but - is very inconvenient to use!!

This is the best massager I have owned, and I ended up using this one more than every other massager I have. The size and portability is the best part. I have been dealing with back pain for the last 4 years and wake up almost everyday with a sore back and neck. I keep this massager beside my bed now and have been using it just for 15 minutes after I wake up on my bed itself and it helps a lot. Pros: - I ended up getting the one with the remote, and that made it really convenient to change the mode and intensity without reaching behind and needing to change my position. They have one with the battery powered too but I wasn't sure if I would ever be using it anywhere where there is no power source so the one with the remote made more sense for me. - The size and ergonomics is perfect, I have the bigger whole-back massager, the one which covers the entire back and hips, but you can only use it on the chair and have to sit upright in a certain position. This once can be angled and moved to any position you like and that makes it really convenient and effective. - The mode and intensity is not a gimmick, I believe there are 3-4 different modes and intensity and they really make a lot of difference. I use one specific mode for my neck where it alternates the rotational direction and that helps a lot. - It mentions that it’s a back massager but I have used it for my calves and hamstring after workouts, and it works really well there too. Things to consider before buying: - The heat intensity is good enough for me, I wasn't looking for something that is a replacement for a heating pad. This massager gets comfortably warm but doesn't produce a strong heat if you are looking for that. - Make sure you are selecting the correct one as per your need, since there are multiple options, one with the remote and another one with the cordless option. - Never use any Shiatsu based Massager with a lot of pressure as it can make it worse for back pain (I have learnt it the hard way), you might get tempted to put more pressure because it feels better while using it, but everyone who complains about pain getting worse after using these products mainly faces that because of way they use it and the pressure with which they use. Bob and Brad service is amazing and I have been using their massager gun for 4 years now, and they even replaced it(without asking any questions ) when I was facing problems with it after more than a year of using it.

OK, so I purchased a massage gun from this brand for my dad a while back and it ended up shorting out and the customer service team was awesome and sent us a replacement. I ended up getting one for myself. I feel like for this brand pricing, this work perfectly fine for the price instead of spending so much more on something that does the same thing. I’ve had a little more pain as of recent, so I decided to get something that I don’t have to physically hold. And honestly, it’s very convenient and I like it. The massage aspect has some vibration to it which after a while my skin does get a little irritated, considering the massage gun doesn’t have that, but it’s very relaxing so I feel like I’ll get used to it. It’s not bad by any means. I like that you can strap it basically to anything to be able to hit your neck your lower back, even your calves. If you want a really deep massage, you just put your full body weight on it and it really hits those knots. We played games a lot at friends house and their chairs are so uncomfortable, so I’m definitely going to bring this to see if it helps me through our game nights. The heat aspect of this is really nice too. It’s definitely bulky, but it would fit in a normal bag if you wanted to bring it anywhere. Material wise, it feels pretty durable. I weigh like 200 pounds and putting my full weight on it, I do not feel like I’m going to break it in the slightest. I totally feel like I could definitely sit here for a long time and read a book in my chair lol. I also like the fact that even though the strap isn’t extremely long, it’s still tight and works on chairs that it might not stretch fully over.
