I got this to store my rats' food in. The mouse icons look close enough to a rat that I thought it was extra cute. Their lab blocks (Oxbow) come in 3lb bags and I mixed it with 3lbs of foraging food and there was still a bit of room to spare in the container. Not sure how well it would work for larger cat or dog food since those pieces would probably be bigger and the bags would be larger. The scoop is a bit large for getting the amount of food my rats need, but works just fine! So far, the spring-top lid still works well after over a month of use. Their food seems fresh and is probably fresher than it ever stayed in the resealable bags it came in. I put moisture absorbing packs (1 ounce) in the little mouse (or rat!) head pocket. Overall, I'm happy with this container!

This is perfect for my pantry. When it's feeding time, I can just pop it open, grab the included cup, and fill my dog bowls accordingly. It's then easy to close and shut the door. Nice, simple system for dog, or cat feeding time.

The lid wouldn't open, you had to press the button a couple of times and sometimes you got lucky, but it was annoying. I donated it and went back to the thing that I could pour without the hassle of lid and scoop. It's super cute to look at but I also found it dries out the food too fast. Dry food fresh from the package doesn't mean it's hard as a rock. As other reviewers stated, it's not truly airtight.

Yes the lid at first didn't want to work,but I quickly figured out the spot to push and dont over fill. Now it pops open every time for me. I am happy with the purchase,I am thinking of buying a second one. Oh yeah,the little mouse scoop is so adorable!!

I bought two of these bins to hold dry and canned cat food in an effort to clear up some floor space by the fridge. They are really adorable and do the job well. I'm not sure they are actually 100% airtight, but they DO keep the dry food fresher than the containers I had been using. Recommend.

The lid would only open when it was off the container, but once it was placed onto the container, it would not open. To make it open when pushing the button, I had to modify the container. I first melted the unevenly cut section from the containers space where the button fits, but that wasn't enough, so I had to cut the sides of it and pull down. It was frustrating and took more energy than I would have liked. On top of this, I'm disappointed that it doesn't fit the entire bag of cat food. The pieces are very small and condensed, so I figured it would work. But, no… I’m curious what type of animal food this would fit 10 lbs of. I’m disappointed that I have to find somewhere to stash the cat food that’s leftover in the bag. The reason I purchased this was save space and get the bag out of the house…
