This gaming laptop might not win any awards but it's just what I needed. My son is a preteen and just getting into PC gaming. He doesn't play anything too resource intense so we just need something for him to play the games he likes, mostly minecraft and roblox and some fun FPS titles like portal and other games he's running on steam. He loves it so far, the sound is decent when he doesn't have his headphones in and we haven't noticed any lag or graphics glitches at all. I might or might not be up for running AAA titles at high frame rates but for what my son needs it for it's perfect for a great price. ... show more

This laptop is thin, lightweight, and works like a champ for me. I needed a laptop the was lightweight so I can easily take to school, use it for work and do minor gaming as well. This laptop was a perfect fit for for all my needs. It has SSD storage so speed is not an issue. The 1080p display makes the picture quality looks amazing in a laptop. It can be used for kids home schooling as well. I did overall pretty well for me. I believe this laptop would last me many years to come. If one is looking for a laptop for school, work, or even as a daily use, I would definitely recommend it to them. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Touch pad is all but useless it's uncontrollable if you set the laptop down on any flat surface it doesn't respond at all to touch except to zoom in and out or scrolls everything like you're just trying to scroll but if you have it on your knee it will jump all over the place and opens everything it touches as it passes and will change settings as it goes through them, so all in all so far the TouchPad is absolutely useless for this laptop will update review as I get further into the abilities of the computer itself...... ... show more

I use a MacBook for work, but most games are only available on windows. I got this to do gaming on the go. This laptop came with windows 10 installed. It boots pretty fast, likely thanks to the SSD. I’m upgrading from an old windows machine that still use the disc drives so it was quite a big difference. The resolution is 1080p, which may seem low compared to my work laptop, but the quality seems comparable. It is a smaller screen at 14” compared to my 17” work laptop. So 1080p is a good res for that size. The Radeon handled my games well so I’m pretty happy with this laptop for under 500. Good value at this price. ... show more

Works well for my much too large Steam library. Good price for what I do, but if you are looking for a laptop to handle the latest and greatest games you might consider a more expensive option.
