I'm extremely impressed. My previous MacBook Pro was also refurbished, lasting five years before I couldn't use it anymore, so I decided to go refurbished again. I've had this MacBook for a few days and its fantastic. My usage consists of surfing the internet and storing my digital photos (photography is a hobby) and it does what needs to be done. This MacBook arrived with zero dents or dings. Its like new, its beautiful. The keyboard works perfectly and the trackpad is great too. Never bought a used laptop before, so I was a bit wary. This is for my wife as a Mac OS "training" computer since she is coming from 25 years of Windows. I must say that I am astounded at how absolutely perfect this Macbook Pro is. There is almost no way to tell it has ever been used. It looks brand new. Not a mark, scratch, or smudge on it. Nothing. Screen is perfect and looks brand new. Even the keys on the keyboard look new. No signs of use or wear. It was very well packaged in a plain white heavy duty box, and that was placed inside an Amazon shipping box. The charging block is not the original, but it is brand new and wrapped in factory plastic. Same for the USB-C charging cable. DO NOT BUY, seems too good to be true, it is. I ordered 2 MacBook pros. They got here really fast but only because I paid them an extra 50$ each for priority. Well when I open the box I see one MacBook Pro 16 inch, and a MacBook Air 13 inch. Really annoying but happens. I start up the Mac Pro, it has every bug under the sun, won't let me set up my iCloud, after 3 hours I get it figured out. Now the Mac won't update from CATALINA WHICH IS LIKE 5 YEARS OLD. I can't download any software or programs I need for work because it's running on an os that is so outdated it won't work. They don't do any quality control, they just are selling a pretty laptop the doesn't work. Do not buy, genuinely not worth it. And when I tried to get a replacement they told me they won't and it would take a week to refund me my money. So thanks for wasting two weeks of my life ... show more

This turned out to be a great choice for a refurbished and slightly older MacBook Pro. The condition was amazing with not a single blemish anywhere. The unit was ready to setup out of the box just like a new system and it even included a brand new power adapter/charger. The tension of the hinge when opening up the laptop is on par with a brand new system, which leads me to believe the unit I received so very little use prior to my purchase. The laptop was professionally and safely packaged in a type of clear air filled membrane that did a great job of ensuring it was well protected during shipment.     • Small issues, still worth it.
Very good functionality so far, battery might drain a bit fast like iPhones, but I don’t see anything unusual with the battery. I am pretty sure that’s mostly because Apple batteries suck a lot compared to other brands, but I can’t really complain due to this fact. Apple charger wasn’t the official apple charger and it overheats a lot, but it charges really fast. Might have been a few pieces chipped from the shell and slightly dented, but that’s the cost of buying a refurbished one. Setting this up was a piece of cake, game performance is also the best, I don’t really know how to use a MacBook, but I can tell compared to other computers this is really great overall. It is also the best computer to do all your work. Works great with mouses whether Apple or non-Apple mouses, it’s pretty strong when it fell once off the height of my bed; everything was in tact and everything remains the same. Didn’t even get a piece chipped off when it fell, neither did the screen break, or get a dent anywhere on the laptop. Definitely better than the HP laptops I purchased before so far, and this was pretty much worth it. It may have a few issues, but I think that’s universally Apple’s fault. Can’t really expect any better from this. In conclusion, this was definitely worth the purchase. Hopefully, nothing unexpected happens. If so, I’ll be making a second review. ... show more
