I LOVED Jesse and Lucy in Falling Down and fell even more in love with them with this one! You not only see the love they have for one another, but you can FEEL the love they have for one another! I also fell in love with all the other characters, especially Xander! He was so funny that you can't help but laugh your butt off at him. Bad day? All you have to do is read the scenes with Xander and the bad day is in the past. Not only do you get more Xander, but also learn more about Lucy's family, and Sera's, but you get more about Cage and Damian too! Not going to lie, Damian is my favorite and getting more about him was a definite plus in my book. Like the author says at the beginning, this isn't super angsty, which I liked because sometimes....I get so tired of books with nothing BUT angst. With that said, there is still drama and things happen that set the tone for the next book in the series, which happens to be Sera's! YAY! So if you're looking for a great easy read, this is the book for you! You see what happens with Jesse and Lucy after Falling Down and more of everyone else. There are surpises that will be thrown your way that will have you super happy and others that will make you want to beat someone. Definitely recommend this book!! Can't wait for more from this author and will be anxiously waiting for Sera's book! ... show more

I LOVE THIS SERIES. What happened in Vegas??? I will never tell. But, Anne will in this fantastic book. I read more of the story of Lucy and Jesse…. YESSSS!!! What I loved just as much, we learn more about some of the other characters in the book. I really love Jesse and Lucy, but I think Zander is coming out on top. There is just something about him, something haunting him, hmmm, got me wondering. Back to Blush. Well, Lucy is still stealing and collecting employees, another from Cage, and now from the hospital. Yes, Lucy needed to go to the hospital, all because of the skank after the concert when….. Stop, NO SPOILERS. Let us just say there was blood and Jesse deserved so much more than he got!! But, wait, I said no spoilers… I am loving this series more and more the more I read. I love these guys, yes, they are rock stars, yes, they do some of what we think they may do, but not what you are thinking. Darn, I said no spoilers. Then there is grand pa, let us just say he is a VERY big force to be reckoned with…lol. But, he is family…. I loved watching Sera and… Nope not going to say. I am just glad that I can open “A Very Xander Christmas 1” and “Amplify” to find out what is going to happen next. Thank you, Ms. Mercier and the CRC group for gifting me with a copy of this much-loved book for my honest opinion. Thank you, MM for bringing me into this phenomenal group!! This story is hot, sassy, and a little bit mysterious. The author really brought it in the second book of this series. I saw improvement in content, the character growth and development, and I really enjoyed the suspense aspect of this story. At the same time she maintained the level of sizzle she brought in Falling Down. I was highly impressed by the character development in Blush. Luce My Goose, it was great to see your confidence growing and the maturing you have done. Your faith in the love you share with Jesse is beautiful. Jesse has continued to grow and learn how to be in a healthy relationship with Lucy. He continues to be the leading man that all the girls love. Overall, I think we see a significant maturation in all the characters in this story, even though some of them hide it well (Xan My Man). They're adulting now and they're really going to be adulting soon. We are introduced to some new characters that add mystery and flair to the story and find out some surprising information about others. This story Kept my attention right from the start and actually threw me for a couple of loops. Let's see what Xan my man has to say about the holidays. ... show more

Anne Mercier has done it again with Blush, if you are looking for a hot rockstar read with some action, laugh, tears, and lots of unexpected songs being this book is about (rockstars) please read Blush. I would advise to read Falling Down first before reading Blush you won't be disappointed. Anne had made this story one to make you think and question many things and to have you excited for the rest of the series. The love between all the characters is so relatable and easy, it shows you what a true family should be like whether blood related or not. The love between Jesse and Lucy is hot and steamy so is the sex but if you read FD before you will know. I love Ben and Xander even more in this book, Xander totally showed a different side and I love it. Ben also stepped up his game in this book also, great that he spoke up more. Looking forward to read both Ben and Xander's book, can't wait for the next one in the series (Sera) I will end this review by saying rock stars =1; groupie 'ho's =0. Read Blush you won't be disappointed, but read Falling Down first if you haven't yet. Love them, these have a definite place on my re-read list. ... show more
