OMG, FALLING DOWN AND BLUSHING!!!!!!!

I just finished this book in one day and I am so in love with both of these bands and all the characters that make up this heart pounding, suspenseful, and entertaining book. I don't think it is possible for me to pick a favorite character, because I love all of them equally. The author did so well with the writing, she gave each character their own personality that the reader could relate to in real life. She made you want to go out and party and raise hell with them. Because of my own great jokester sense of humor, I have to say I have the best connection with CRAZY AS HELL XANDER. This guy had me almost peeing on myself he is just so hilarious. I do believe he is in love with Luce, but his heart knows he can never have her, Luce is too much in love with Jesse. I sure hope this author writes a book about Xander it would be SO HOT. This book is full of twists and turns the reader will not see coming until you are sitting there with your mouth hitting the floor. I almost lost it when Luce was attacked by a mystery character and ended up in the hospital in ICU. I cried like a baby along with Jesse and all the members of both bands. It was kind of funny when all of them camped out in ICU and would not leave. During this trying time for Luce and Jesse, the secrets of the Family started to come out when grandpa Giovanni showed up. Not going to give the secrets away, I want the next reader to be as shocked as I was. March 2015 for the next book Amplify needs to get here quick. I have a sneaking feeling with all the vomiting that Sera is doing, it is not a virus but a pregnancy. But who could be the BABY DADDY???? Can't wait for this series to continue, have alot of gut feelings that need answers!!!!!

I LOVED Jesse and Lucy in Falling Down and fell even more in love with them with this one! You not only see the love they have for one another, but you can FEEL the love they have for one another! I also fell in love with all the other characters, especially Xander! He was so funny that you can't help but laugh your butt off at him. Bad day? All you have to do is read the scenes with Xander and the bad day is in the past. Not only do you get more Xander, but also learn more about Lucy's family, and Sera's, but you get more about Cage and Damian too! Not going to lie, Damian is my favorite and getting more about him was a definite plus in my book. Like the author says at the beginning, this isn't super angsty, which I liked because sometimes....I get so tired of books with nothing BUT angst. With that said, there is still drama and things happen that set the tone for the next book in the series, which happens to be Sera's! YAY! So if you're looking for a great easy read, this is the book for you! You see what happens with Jesse and Lucy after Falling Down and more of everyone else. There are surpises that will be thrown your way that will have you super happy and others that will make you want to beat someone. Definitely recommend this book!! Can't wait for more from this author and will be anxiously waiting for Sera's book!

Yes! Yes! Yes!

This story is hot, sassy, and a little bit mysterious. The author really brought it in the second book of this series. I saw improvement in content, the character growth and development, and I really enjoyed the suspense aspect of this story. At the same time she maintained the level of sizzle she brought in Falling Down. I was highly impressed by the character development in Blush. Luce My Goose, it was great to see your confidence growing and the maturing you have done. Your faith in the love you share with Jesse is beautiful. Jesse has continued to grow and learn how to be in a healthy relationship with Lucy. He continues to be the leading man that all the girls love. Overall, I think we see a significant maturation in all the characters in this story, even though some of them hide it well (Xan My Man). They're adulting now and they're really going to be adulting soon. We are introduced to some new characters that add mystery and flair to the story and find out some surprising information about others. This story Kept my attention right from the start and actually threw me for a couple of loops. Let's see what Xan my man has to say about the holidays.

I LOVE THIS SERIES. What happened in Vegas??? I will never tell. But, Anne will in this fantastic book. I read more of the story of Lucy and Jesse…. YESSSS!!! What I loved just as much, we learn more about some of the other characters in the book. I really love Jesse and Lucy, but I think Zander is coming out on top. There is just something about him, something haunting him, hmmm, got me wondering. Back to Blush. Well, Lucy is still stealing and collecting employees, another from Cage, and now from the hospital. Yes, Lucy needed to go to the hospital, all because of the skank after the concert when….. Stop, NO SPOILERS. Let us just say there was blood and Jesse deserved so much more than he got!! But, wait, I said no spoilers… I am loving this series more and more the more I read. I love these guys, yes, they are rock stars, yes, they do some of what we think they may do, but not what you are thinking. Darn, I said no spoilers. Then there is grand pa, let us just say he is a VERY big force to be reckoned with…lol. But, he is family…. I loved watching Sera and… Nope not going to say. I am just glad that I can open “A Very Xander Christmas 1” and “Amplify” to find out what is going to happen next. Thank you, Ms. Mercier and the CRC group for gifting me with a copy of this much-loved book for my honest opinion. Thank you, MM for bringing me into this phenomenal group!! Thank you for reading my review. Kudos Ms. Mercier on a FANTASTIC book/series!!! I cannot wait to read the next, “A Very Xander Christmas 1” and “Amplify”. I LOVE BFD!!!!

Blush is the continuation of Jesse and Lucy's story and it is a doozy! Mercier gives us everything we could want---love, lots of hot monkey sex, romance and hilarious high jinks in addition to danger and suspense. Jesse and Lucy are perfect for each other and their love truly shines through in Mercier's writing. I fell in love with all of the characters in Falling Down in the first book and she made me fall even more in love with them in Blush. Their connections and love for one another run deep and it really shows in their interactions and dialogue. I am looking forward to more from this series which is already off to an amazing start!!

Anne Mercier has rocked the house again. Blush picks up where Falling Down left off and all of our favorite sexy rockers are back. YES!!!! Personally my favorite is Xander but Jesse is hot too. What am I saying they are all HOT & SEXY!!! Anyway, Lucy wakes up in Vegas married to the hot and sexy Jesse freaking Kingston. Dreams really do come true now she is Mrs. Jesse Kingston just like she wrote all over her note books in school. Awe new love. You’ll see the ups and the downs of their new marriage, see that life on tour is well crazy and you’ll make some new friends along the way too. Some new family comes into the picture and there are issues with Groupie Whores. Mamma Russo is scary as ever. "Yes Mamma." She even has Jesse saying it. Things happen that will surprise you and the sex is even hotter than it was in Falling Down, yes it is possible for that, trust me. You are going to love love love it. I sure did. So one-click it. The Rockstar series hands down is the best series I have ever read. Why you ask well because you really fall in love with the characters and she puts your right there in the middle of it all. You are living the dream with them. Anne makes them so real. When I read both books it was like a movie playing in the back of my mind. Not some black and white version. Fun read (spoiler alert)

The characters in this series are easy to connect with and the romance is HOT. Parts are laugh out loud funny and reading in public may be an issue if you like to avoid perma-grin in front of strangers. But, this book definitely feels like a stepping stone for the rest of the series and I think that made some plot points a little forced. The mafia war is a great development and has definitely piqued my interest for the mysterious Sera in "Amplify," the next book; but the whole hand breaking slut punching scene and subsequent emotional shut down by Lucy felt a bit awkward, especially since she got over it pretty much immediately despite the whole "will this be their doom?" Tone set around the scene. Nope, no doom, nothing to see here, moving right along to the mafia war.

It will entertain your emotions

Before you read this series, you have to read the disclaimer the author included in the blurb. This is fiction and as such, it is the author's imagination at work depicting rockers (male and female) who are unconventional to say the least. So far the series as a whole is more erotic romance than anything else. There is a plot line that is somewhat endearing, although at times it is raw. Anyone offended by depictions of sex scenes in detail, or cussing, etc. should probably avoid this series. I actually liked it. There are some things that stretched my suspension of disbelief, but all in all I enjoyed reading about this rag group and their antics. No drugs are involved. This is a team of rockers who come from various backgrounds and somehow have merged into being a "family". They all have their issues and we get to enjoy their stories as they mature and reach super stardom. The characters are well developed and the writing is just fine. If you are looking for an escape that will move you and entertain all your emotions, this series is for you.
