I've always upgraded my car stereos, but my current 2011 Cadillac CTS has the pop out nav screen which I like, and don't want to replace the whole center dash panel for an upgraded radio, so this worked perfectly to fill the missing pieces. Just hooked up to the USB and AUX inside the center console, and mounted the buttons right on the outside of the console by where my hand rests for easy access without cords across the car. Had my spouse very confused for the first week until she finally asked how I kept changing the song without touching anything 😂. Range is good, just enough to be annoying when it connects to my car in the garage from in the house (I plan to change that USB power source to accessory power only and not constant power), and the sound quality is excellent. Pairs quickly and seamlessly when I get close to the car so no annoyance of having to pair each time, just get in the car and hit the play button on this and my audio picks up where it left off. If it weren't for this simple little thing, I would have been compelled to spend the $900 to replace the center dash and get an upgraded android stereo for the car as I've done with everything else I've had. Usually not too expensive to do, but replacing the factory radio on this specific car model takes a lot of extras so I'm thankful for finding this and it being good enough to satisfy my needs

The good: Setup is super easy. Works exactly as advertised. Bluetooth connection is great. Not needing to recharge it is fantastic. The less good: Light plastic (it feels cheap). The cables are extremely thin and fragile. The cables are really short.

I was skeptical but couldn't be happier with this unit. The sound quality for music is excellent -- no noise. It connects very quickly when I get into the car. I've been told that the mic and call voice quality are very good (and I keep it in front of the the console -- not on the dash or steering wheel column). Responds instantly to voice commands. Very simple to set up in minutes. Plugged it in, scanned for bluetooth with my phone and paired. A great deal! Update: Bought another one for a different vehicle. Now using with iPhone and Android. Works great on both.

I haven't had any problems so far ( about 8 days of use). The music quality is clear and louder than a normal aux cord. With the new hand free law passing in SC this was the best choice for the price.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This worked OK for me, and a quick setup. Connects right away, and I was able to stash the whole mess behind my console (1997 Pathfinder) - my stereo has rear aux inputs, and I got a 12v to female USB cable and spliced it in. The noise filter thing was 100% needed in my vehicle and works fine. It doesn't really sound as good as the radio, but will do - main beef is it screams "CONNECTED" at me when I start the car. My grand daughter already has a tradition of shrieking at me when this happens. The buttons to advance or go back a track don't work (current iPhone), they just start the track over again. Haven't tried the mic yet. The adhesive on the button won't stick to any surface that's been treated, and when the vehicle heats up inside (summer sun), it comes loose, not a huge deal.
