Second update: after the first couple of times that I maxed the volume on the receiver, it does seem to stay at that volume every time I plug it in now. That was all that was missing for me to give it 5 stars. Update: I found out you can turn up the volume on the receiver (even though my phone's Bluetooth volume was all the way up, the receiver's volume wasn't) and at max volume, it's about on par with the radio volume. Almost 5 stars, but not quite since I have to turn it up every time I plug it in and power it on. Original review: It was simple enough to install and connect. Can't review voice commands because I don't use that. Sound quality when playing music is fine, but it's a bit quiet. I have to crank up the volume in my vehicle quite a bit to get the same volume as I get listening to the radio or CDs. It's a little annoying having to remember to turn the volume down when I go back to the radio or CD player lest I get blasted, but other than that, can't complain.

Update I got a replacement and the saying third time is a charm. The tiny plate mentioned below actually had a cover in the newest product I got. It went front one wire to two wires. It works as it advertises. It is what I was expecting and will have music more conveniently in my car. I have also answered a call and the person heard me clearly and I heard them clearly. The below issue seems to be an issue with the seller. I firmly believe I was sent a used product. I have changed my review to reflect that. Original comment The wires you plug into the car were badly soddered into a tiny plate. The photo does not show pieced together wires. I'm not sure why they needed to be soddered. It should have been a solid wire. Both wires (aux and usb) fell out before I could use it This was the second time I bought this. The first time it was undeliverable. The second time I ordered it, it came in a box that was in a box torn up, stickers removed off the box with the adhesive left on it and taped up in scotch tape and packing tape. I wonder if this was the one I originally bought and the post office sent it back damaged and they taped up the box and put in in a new envelope with another product. I had to throw a tantrum to get it replaced because it was 3rd party. The 3rd one is coming today via the post office. I will see if my review needs to change or if I will return it and get a second item.

I've always upgraded my car stereos, but my current 2011 Cadillac CTS has the pop out nav screen which I like, and don't want to replace the whole center dash panel for an upgraded radio, so this worked perfectly to fill the missing pieces. Just hooked up to the USB and AUX inside the center console, and mounted the buttons right on the outside of the console by where my hand rests for easy access without cords across the car. Had my spouse very confused for the first week until she finally asked how I kept changing the song without touching anything 😂. Range is good, just enough to be annoying when it connects to my car in the garage from in the house (I plan to change that USB power source to accessory power only and not constant power), and the sound quality is excellent. Pairs quickly and seamlessly when I get close to the car so no annoyance of having to pair each time, just get in the car and hit the play button on this and my audio picks up where it left off. If it weren't for this simple little thing, I would have been compelled to spend the $900 to replace the center dash and get an upgraded android stereo for the car as I've done with everything else I've had. Usually not too expensive to do, but replacing the factory radio on this specific car model takes a lot of extras so I'm thankful for finding this and it being good enough to satisfy my needs

Great functionality but the build quality leaves something to be desired. The magnet that holds it to the dash is very weak and it doesn't take very much of a bump even in the road for it to fall off. The design looks nice and it pairs nicely with the phone. The buttons and functionality are easy to use but the build quality is trash.
