Nice calculator!! Fast printing and if you know how to use an adding machine or need one this one's great! I also have a sharp I got after this one since I needed to have another. A bit different than the sharp but for the most part are the same. Zoom in on the rounding decimal places to make sure this one will work for you since it's got different options than the older sharps. But all in all great adding machine!!! ... show more

    • Good, but Not Excellent!
This adding machine with a tape is replacing another Canon one that lasted 30 years--albeit only used at tax time. This one has more "bells and whistles" than I actually need. I chose it because it had the option of a cord that I could actually plug-in to use, rather than depending on expensive lithium batteries. In its defense, the machine is fast and has a ten-key arrangement of the numbers. My criticisms are twofold. The cord is far too short, and it is necessary to use an extension cord. Secondly, if you leave the machine unattended for 5 minutes, it turns itself off in an attempt to save on the electric bill. Frankly, that feature is a bit annoying. ... show more

Was replacing a VERY old but 'perfect' for my use professional Cannon Office calculator that quit working. Reviews were so mixed on these various makes/models that it was hard to know what to choose. THIS is a traditional 'ten key' function calculator, and was exactly what I was looking for in function & size -and nearly the same keyboard configuration as my original, so very little muscle memory retraining needed. Thankfully other reviewers commented about the 'time out' feature on the digital read - it's a handy feature, you may like it too. ... show more
