I love the battery life on this thing. The sound cancellation is awesome too. My phone calls sound clear and I've asked my partner how I sound and he says it's really good he can't even hear the truck in the background.

This product is very nice. When talking I asked can they here my backround the answer has always been no. It stays charged for days even after talking on it for about 1 to 3 hrs straight while driving sometimes. Accept, the cushion needs to be made better with a different material or thicker. Because it hurts my ear after a while. So that's why I gave 4 stars ... show more

It came quickly. Price was great. I’ve been looking for a Blue Parrot headset. It comes with the extra earpiece so no need to worry. I drive a semi for a living. My Daycab is very noisy. I am not kidding. I've done that. "Hey, can you hear the garbage truck that pulled up next to me?" "No, I just hear your voice." I have tried about 10 other highly-rated headphones including Aoeplex bone conducting headphones - which I love because of how lightweight they are. BUT they pick up too much background noise - especially with my best friend who has hearing aids directly connected to her phone. I even have the Aeoplex model with the boom mic. Background noise is still an issue. Not with these. Zero background noise. Last week I was standing in the security line at the airport and someone wanted to talk to me, I told them I could listen and not talk much, because of where I was and how annoying that would be to other people around me. So I held a listening conversation for 10 minutes and (for kicks and to test out these headphones) I DID NOT HIT THE MUTE BUTTON and the other person could not hear ANY background noise. No crowd-murmur, no airport announcements, nothing. I was in a sea of agitated people ! And no, they were not agitated at me, 'cause I stuck to my manners and did not annoy everyone. I currently have an S450-XT v2.03 with permanent dual headphones. I bought this one for my husband because he likes to drive our semi truck with one ear uncovered, but listens to music or watches videos with both ears on. This new headset is way more solid than mine. It's notably heavier than mine too, but not in a bad way. Mine fell out of our semi truck 4-5ft to the ground and snapped in halft on top. I have mine duct taped together at the top because the still work. But these new ones feel so solid you could beat someone unconscious with them and be perfectly fine!! Haha! I like the Blue Parrot app that lets you change the functionality of the Blue Parrot button. I use mine for mute, and my husband uses his for battery status. His only complaint is that it offers a function for a third party app, but only has a short list of PTT (push-to-talk) applications like Nextel. He would like to have the option to have it open Pandora or Spotify, something like that. Otherwise, great headset! Love the hard case that comes with it. ... show more

Is it a decent product? Yes. Is it worth $150? Not in my opinion. I was very excited for this because I was upgrading from a cheap headset I got from Amazon for $40. I drive a truck for a living so a headset is essential. The headset I was using not only outperforms this blue parrot, but it was 1/3 the price. The issues I have with the blue parrot are as follows - the volume is incredible when listening to Spotify and I’m streaming music or podcasts. The volume is terrible on phone calls but the sound quality and noise cancelling is great. The range is not good and it breaks up and cuts off when you leave your phone in the truck and walk outside. Also has a lot of connectivity issues. I run a garmin GPS that I also sync to my phone with Bluetooth so I’m able to get live traffic. If I receive a call, the notification will come through my headset but when I answer the call, the call will get transferred to my Garmin and the audio will come out of there, forcing me to manually switch it back over from my iPhone, which is extremely annoying. Then when the call ends, the music or podcast I was streaming will resume but will be on an extremely low volume and I have to manually bring it back to full volume. Overall, I regret this purchase, especially because of the money I paid for it. ... show more
