Heavy, beautiful, real marble. This is not a regular cutting board. Do not use it to cut food or for daily use. This is more of a pastry, display, serving, cheese board . It doesn't seem to be finished or coated with anything and it will get damaged easily if you chop food on it and it's slippery so its a danger to use daily. Also, oil and strawberries will stain it. Poor quality, purchased and used for 3 weeks and the parts that make up the black and white marble pieces split where the glue was not evenly applied. I opened this several weeks after purchase and requested a refund outside my return window, and was charged a RESHELVING FEE, I complained about this fee several times, promised not to be charged and to also be refunded but never happened. This was the first time I encountered terrible service from Amazon with poor quality and return. Although I had purchased 2 bikes that each had to be returned immediately due to them being defective (assuming Amazon sends used damaged products when opting for payment plan) ... show more
