The media could not be loaded. When they're on and working, they're absolutely amazing (see my video!) The flickering light looks like a real flame and will stay on independently for 24 hours, the music is perfect because it's spread out (I had 4 speakers) and echoes around the pool everywhere .. OH I wanted to love them. If they were hard wired to electrical and to one another, there would be nothing better. It's the connection (to each other, to your device, and also to power... the short time the charge lasts) that is the deal breaker. 1. If one speaker loses its charge, you get the loudest one-tone (phone busy signal) alert that repeats every few minutes. And, one speaker can somehow go rogue an hour in while the others are fine. But you have to track it down and eliminate the threat of that alert...if it just stopped working that would be fine, but it has to blare a buzz kill sound 2. The charge lasts about 4-5 hours and then that starts happening to all of them 3. You have to go collect them all up and stick them all back on chargers for another few hours, every time you use them 4. Every time you turn them on you have to pair one to your phone, switch the function, then pair the others to the first one. If you turn them off, you have to start over and go to each individual speaker and go through the process. It works about 50% of the time 5. All the speakers are called the same thing on Bluetooth so if you don't remember which one you paired as the main speaker before, and you try to pair a different one first, oh there's trouble. When you should be serving drinks and greeting your guests, you're swearing at your speakers because of course that's when they un-pair and fail and god forbid someone else wants to play their playlist and you have to switch; you are back to square one 6. If you have the attachment on for the stakes, you can't set them down on anything because the bottom isn't flat anymore which makes them a jumble of mess while you're charging them 7. They are not intuitive at all ... they have + and - buttons on them but they're not for volume, it's to change to the next song on the playlist and there's trouble if you press them (volume only from your phone or whatever device is attached) I hate to leave a poor review as Blonbar replaced one speaker for me right of the bat when it stopped working but once the 30 day refund window passed I'm afraid I am stuck with them. They make for pretty tiki torches, but that's about it. I ended up buying the set of two Pyle indoor/outdoor speakers which I have plugged into a smart switch to power on and off .... and wired to not just one another but to two existing Polk Audio outdoor speakers that I had pre-existing. All I have to do is choose that on my Bluetooth and the music is everywhere ... life is easy again !!!

These are an ambiance setter for sure! They are especially fun when dining al fresco or enjoying music on a deck or patio. I know that there are two settings, but I cannot imagine using anything by the flickering flame unless there is a power failure. The battery life is pretty good. Pairing them with your iPhone is pretty straight forward. The portability is great. You can put them on a table too, stake or hang them. Pair them for sure for the best sound experience. Just like lays potato chips, you just can’t have one. The sound is clear and clean sound but lacking strong bass.
