Bought this on a whim, but I have to say, it is the best way to apply self tanner ever! I could not believe how much better and easier it went on, and less product. The brush is stated vegan, super soft and dense. The handle is long enough to comfortably reach the middle of your back or other awkward places. I have used it twice, no hairs fall out of the brush, and it is easy to clean, lie brush face down on a dry cloth when done washing. The handle is also very sturdy, something you don't always get. I’ve been self-tanning for years and consider myself pretty high-maintenance when it comes to getting a flawless application. I’ve tried every mitt, brush, and DIY hack out there, none that have really been set apart but tbis one really impressed me. The bristles are dense enough to blend product seamlessly without leaving streaks, yet soft enough that they don’t irritate my skin or drag the mousse. The larger brush makes blending legs and arms so much faster, and it even has good control around tricky areas like wrists, ankles, and collarbones. I used to constantly ask my husband to help (and let’s just say the results were… inconsistent). This handle lets me apply evenly across my back by myself, which has always been the hardest area to get right, much less even see back there but this does it. It’s so soft! ... show more

I was honestly skeptical about using this to apply lotion and thinking that it would be scratchy are the first couple uses/washes. But it is still very soft after several uses. It's overall length is about 12" so if you're a bigger person it may be a bit short. For reference, I'm 5'6" and not very flexible and it works just right for me. The handles don't have any flex but feel solid and durable. They're easy to clean with just a little mild soap and rinsing with copious amounts of water. Needs a day to dry after. ... show more
