    • Darned good inexpensive stereo
Style: Version 1
I bought this to replace an entry level BOSS Bluetooth deck. that was beginning to get flakey after 4 years. The Blaupunkt is more rugged, and has WAY better sound. The imaging between front and back speakers is really nice, my music sounds a lot better. Only caveats: no included mounting hardware; takes a sec to boot when you start the car -- a little longer than is optimal. But it's a heck of a nice unit, and really inexpensive. It's also working fine with a generic backup camera. Very pleased overall. ... show more

    • Great value for your money
Style: Version 1
The value for the money is good. I was surprised the stereo did not come with anything to be mounted. In other words, get the mounting brackets and around the face trim from a different source because this equipment comes as desert as it can be. Do not expect even bolts or washers to support and restraint the radio unit. Other than that, I think is a good product. Will buy Blaupunkt again. ... show more

    • Fantastic head unit for the money
Style: Version 1
I bought this to replace a Boss audio head unit that stopped working after 1 year. I use this to run two headrest monitors as well. The sound quality is light years ahead of the boss, and it was at a similar price point. I love the external microphone, because anybody who ever used a head unit with a built in mic will tell you they are terrible. My only gripe is that the interface seems a little... "clumsy." If you go in expecting all the issues with a cheap head unit you will be pleasantly surprised. ... show more

    • Gets the Job done but still has some Bugs...
Style: Version 1
I bought this unit for my 2004 Camry and it works pretty good for what I use it MUSIC. Dont really use it for calls as I dont have the wired mic installed in my car and the face unit mic is just trash. I have to lean in and scream for it to pick up my voice... the unit also randomly resets to factory setting probably once every few weeks usually when I get some notification on my phone. I dont really use the radio and presets so this isnt a deal breaker but still annoying. BT sound quality is great though and for the price what more could you ask for but the bare minimum to keep a smile on your face and a nice shiny touch screen in your old car. Overall I can listen to my podcasts and music on my commute and it looks very clean with the trim kit. ... show more

    • It all worked as advertised
Style: Version 1
I installed the unit in a 2006 Ford Expedition and the radio worked as advertised. I personally would like a rear camera icon and the ability to control the camera without the main reverse gear wiring ,so i connected it to the front cam input and made a seperate switch. it now works as I want . All in all a nice radio. ... show more

    • By far show quality show. Disappointing expectations... Blaupunkt once had Audio Legendary status.
Style: Version 1
For what is available, Blaupunkt can't be beat, at this price. The touch screen feature isn't responsive. It is mediocre, at best, not the slowest I have used. The remote function is poor. The handheld remote is a very cheap feeling experience. The picture quality is nice. The sound quality is great, over the old 2007 factory Honda head unit. This is a nice upgrade for your everyday family hauler. I wouldn't put this level in my top show project. If Blaupunkt reads this... please, lead me to a better product that you would recommend for my show car project. This unit isn't going to cut it. *lowered my rating. The unit isn’t completely compatible with my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Music only works. I can’t use it for a two-way phone call. It answers but I can’t communicate back. This is a horrible part of something that I thought would be cool. The Mirror link doesn’t work for iPhone, either. But, Samsung and Android users can Rejoice!! I don't own one of those. ... show more

    • Broke after less than six months
Style: Version 1
Less than six months into use (not every day, mind you) this unit wouldn’t shut off and killed my battery. I suspected there was an issue because the Bluetooth stopped working along with all volume and power controls. When I got out of the car for the night I hesitated because the display was still on but my other car is on a delay so I thought this one was too. When I went back a couple days later the battery was completely dead. I’ll be shopping for a different stereo as this one is out of the return period and I’m not about to attempt a warranty claim. Just not worth it since this unit was a POS from day one, mainly because of its terrible interface and touch screen. RIP Blaupunkt, a once premium brand. ... show more
