Before it would come off and on and now it’s staying in protection mode . I use these power in-ceiling speakers in my home. I first tried using a single amp and speaker selector as shown on the right of picture. Using these Blaupunkt Amps to power four speakers in 1-2 different zones is SO MUCH better. Using the Alexa ap, I can play different songs, at different volumes, in different zones, or have them all act in concert. The sound quality is solid and the power good at literally a fifth of the price Sonos charges. Also at the same sound output, these amps stay relatively cool compared to my SSL amp that gets quite hot. I plan on purchasing more to kill the speaker selector altogether and add some additional bedrooms. ... show more

complete garbage. purchased for a project SUV i am working on, installed amp and in the first 10 minutes it died. Looks to have power, fuses not blown power light off it does has static at output. no audio output. by passed amp and checked output direct from tuner and it works fine, amp is dead total waste of money ... show more

Had one before and definitely does the job. My old one went out after 2 years. So I purchased a different one. I ended up returning the other brand and got this same one. It works amazing. I have a 2 12’s on a 5000 watt amp and the 1600 for my inside door speakers

The amp works just fine. The mounting is horrible. It took me over an hour just to get the screws in. You have to drop the screws into a hole from the top. There is a lip or ledge inside the hole and the screws will lodge sideways. I tried everything. Taping the screws to a drill bit and trying to guide them in but they will always get cocked. I finally took drill and remove the ledge on the inside and it still took several minutes to line up the screws. ... show more
