Great for the price. Really didn’t plan on getting a system, but the 4runner I ended up buying was already wired up and ready to go so naturally I ended up on marketplace looking and you know how that goes. Long story short I ended up with an old school Rockford Fosgate power series sub in a lousy box with a crappy amp. This was kind of a side project while I was dumping big money into lift, tires, ect. I didn’t want to spend big money, but the old 150wrms amp wasn’t cutting it so i shopped around and decided to give this one a try. Is it the best amp I’ve ever had? No. Is it the best amp I’ve ever had in terms of cost to power and sound quality? Absolutely. Pay attention to the rms rating and read through the comments for the real world numbers, this is not a 3000w amp you’d get from Kicker, JL, Fosgate, ect, but it matched up great for my t1 10, and I wouldn’t be afraid to buy to buy another amp from blaupunkt going off of the same principle if I decide to upgrade subs in the future. Miles ahead of the 1500w planet audio amp it replaced in both power and quality for only $20-$30 more on Amazon. Bottom line, if you find yourself in a situation similar to mine I’ve already done the research and field testing for you. Can’t beat it for the money. ... show more

The reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because the rms wattage ratings are false. This deceives people while trying to match up the right amp for their system. I also don’t like how bulky it is for the low power it produces but I am only saying this because I’ve had much smaller amps that put out a lot more pier compared to this one. If you can get over the first two gripes I have about this thing, it will make a great normal amp for adding a subwoofer to a vehicles fill in the low end sound. I was using this for my 500rms 12 inch subwoofer, but it doesn’t get as loud as I want without it clipping and sounding bad-but I also am running it at 4ohms for better accurate bass. ... show more

At first I was a little skeptical after reading a few reviews but after installing it and hearing it on my three kicker 12s I can say it definitely delivers the power to drive them. I can find nothing to complain about this amp. Definitely worth the cost.

Obviously this $120 amp is not going to put out 4000w of power even at Max for this dollar amount, but for the RMS power you get (YouTube video showing exactly what power this puts out on a dyno btw) the price cannot be beat. My friends and I have bought multiple Blaupunkt amps and have not had any complaints, but we are cheap and have never tried expensive quality brand amps either. I recommend this for 2ohm subwoofer setups of 600W RMS power or less (For reference: I run an Alpine S-W10D4 S in 2 ohm in a 1.5cf box and I rattle my glass a little) ... show more

Just wow. i have 2 12inch kicker comp c..i was running a 12000watt amp and it would crash everyday at high hits...decided to try this and wow....i can finally turn it up all the way and it keeps up. very very very loud.

Ive installed several of these amps over the past couple years. Ive used them in several applications, from 10s-15s.My customers love them and ive only had one that arrived damaged. You have to understand that these do not put out 3000 watts. No amplifier manufacturer puts the true output on the product. This is only for selling points to attract newer buyers. Every amp is different but for the most part these amps are truly putting out a ballpark of 600 rms watts. Once you know what it can actually do, then you can properly match your system based on this amp. In all honesty, the $85-$95 price tag for a true 600 rms amp isn't bad at all. I recommend this purchase. As far as it's size/ footprint, it's pretty large and heavy. This could be construed as a good feature based on durability and longevity. However, you will need some surface area just for the amp. I'd suggest an suv application or larger vehicles. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. nothing to dislike but what i liked was how compact and easy to place it is there are very large and bulky and hard to find space for, they are quality built, the sound is extremly clear and proffessional, easy to adjust, the price alone should run other brand of amps out of buisness cause you cant get this much quality sound for such an affordable price give these amps a shot, you will be surprised, i know i was, i own a 1500 watt and now a 3000 watt and soon ill get that 4000 watt just because its such a kick ass price!
