Full Disclosure, I am not trying to push this thing anywhere near its limits, nor would I try. I'm using this to run a 500W max RF 10" sub in my weekend warrior truck. And it does a great job. Pushes the speaker above and beyond its limits so I cant go full tilt on it. Love that it came with the remote knob and it all works perfectly. Installed with some 4 AWG power cable and has been working flawlessly since. I plan to upgrade to a 12" sub in the near future that is capable of a bit more power. We will see how it handles the heat of summer. 5 out of 5 and would buy again based on what I know. Will consider other Blaupunkt Amps for future upgrades. ... show more

    • If using a line output converter just unplug ANC harness
I hooked up the Amp town LOC unit it and it pounds my 12" Kicker Competition sub. Especially when adjusting included bass knobs 75% of the way. I love it! Thinking about another one of these and Kicker completions to my 22 Equinox LT. It really puts out some serious bass. ATTENTION: IF USING A LINE OUTPUT CONVERTER IN ORDER TO ADD AN AMPLIFIER TO YOUR EXISTING SYSTEM THEN U NEED A ANC DISABLE HARNESS OR CAN JUST UNPLUG THE ONE HARNESS TO DISABLE ACTIVATED NOISE CONTROL OR ANC UNIT. ENGINE NOISE THROUGH YOUR SPEAKERS AROND 2500 RPM TO 3000 RPM. STAY TUNED FOR PICTURES IT ARRIVES BEGINNING OF THIS WEEK ... show more

    • Gets It Done
Bought this as a seperate subwoofer amplifier. I have it set at 2ohm with the bass gain set at 75% with low pass filter at Full. It is currently running two Mb Quart shallow discus 10 inch subs, parallel wire setup. They hit pretty good in my Ram truck under the rear seat. Time will tell if the amp holds up. I have another Blaupunkt 750 in 4 channel running my front speakers and tweeters, which hasn't failed yet. For subs, this mono amp seems fine at about 30 to 35hz. ... show more

After 6 months use daily, this amp Powers my 2 subs, one 10 in kicker, one 12 in jbl. No over heating issues, sound quality decent. Remote works great. Only thing I dislike but is not a big deal or defect in any way, is it wish the terminal bays and screws were slightly bigger for thicker Guage wiring. I go heavy duty on power and ground wires. But the ones there do work with no issues. I recommend this amp at this price point. ... show more

High-end my a$$ worst amp I’ve ever used, couldn’t even power a 500w sub, yes the sub works fine, yes it was wired in correctly, and yes it was tuned. The power rating is probably closer to 150 than 1500.

    • Nice Amp for the money
Bought for my son to put in his first car. I had subs in all my first cars so I come from that school. Pushes his one 10 inch Kicker sub in a ported box pretty good. Nice deep and loud bass. Had to turn down the amp because bass was too much at times. We turned down the gain while the remote was on max to try to get that sweet spot where the bass was not too much, but where you could get it to really beat if you wanted it to via the remote. Got the amp at a steal for $53; it's $68 now..........and I would still buy it. ... show more

It claims 1500w max but couldn’t make it there if it was on fire, I understand it’s 200rms at 2ohms but literally struggled to make it there and had a ton of distortion, if you’re planning on powering anything bigger than a 6.5 speaker I’d save your money. I tried pushing it over 200w and it completely reset itself. I gave it three stars due to the fact that I’m still gonna use it to run after market door speakers which it’ll probably be more suited for. ... show more

    • It's a nice amp 4 the money.
1 week so far all is well pushing my 2 kicker 10s but cuts out at deep bass. This amp is not stable at all and is not the same amp in the photo as it has 1 fuse yes 1500watts 1 fuse the photo shows 2
