For what you're paying, this does a lot. I purchased this after research most bang for your buck <$100. As long as the room is relatively dark, it will work fine. I DJ'ed using this during the daytime, indoors, with four big windows with light shades (you could still see through them outside), and it was bright enough to add to the ambiance. Not overwhelming, but it would definitely have dominated the room if there were not any windows and just several lamps and overhead christmas lights, etc. ... show more

I'm a 25 plus year mobile DJ. Great compact smaller LED derby style light. Doesn't run hot, no duty cycle needed. Works great, nice bright coverage of the entire room/venue. I'm not sure why it has a fan as it is an LED light, you can't hear the fan with the music going (you can when you're not playing music but it's not annoying but again who is running the lights without music.) ... show more
