These were definitely some of the best practice skins I’ve worked with. I have two apprentices and the first time I tried a different brand I was appalled that I (a 12 year artist) couldn’t saturate the skin we were using. A little bit on the thin side, but these are definitely great for beginner artists. Make sure to use Vaseline before tattooing or else your whole skin will be black!

So this is my first time using fake skin. It’s not bad. Not the best. But you get what you pay for. For little tattoo designs, it’s not bad. Ink comes off nicely with aquaphor. Ink goes on okay. They are thin. So when using just make sure you have something underneath as to not scratch what’s underneath it. ... show more

I started getting buyers regret right after ordering these. I have some from other brands that are horrible and completely unusable. At least with these you can clean the excess ink off. They take the ink well enough and are a good "cheap" practice skin. Yes they are thin. You need to be careful when using them, but they are usable and the tattoo will look good on it. For display skin's you might want to buy a quality brand like reelskin or pound of flesh, but for just practicing these are not horrible. ... show more
