Great addition for the camper!
Got this for my husband for Father's Day for our camper, along with an outdoor kitchen stand. He cooked meats, fish, veggies, and breakfast on this our first trip out and raved about it all weekend long. He kept his tailgate grill going for a back-up but this stole the show for him! It cooks up all the foods nicely, the separate heating zones is a great feature! Its pretty easy to clean and is a good size for storing in our camper! It was a little more expensive than I wanted to pay but it was the most ideal option for our needs. And if our next camper has the outdoor kitchen, it will still be usable so I see it as a decent investment. Plus, he can use it on our back deck at home. Now if I can get him to remember to pull the drip pan out in the back BEFORE he starts cooking, we will do great! ... show more

Best addition to our camping trip. We bought this for a week long trip in Tahoe and this didn’t disappoint. We had a group of 13 and I was able to fit 2 packages of bacon on the griddle.! The non-stick is a game changer, easy to clean off and cook the remainder of our breakfast

Fantastic!
This is great. Much more compact than the old style camping grills I've used in the past. Easier to pack. Really like cooking over the griddle as opposed to the open flame. It collects all the drippings rather than letting them splatter over the flame guard. Also, no flare-ups!

Happy Camper
We have tried several types of cookers for camping. We like light weight and compact since space is limited in a camper. This Blackstone is by far the best outdoor cooker yet. Carefully remove the sticker attached to the handle. Griddle is near perfect.
I think this is a great griddle for camping or just a day at the lake. I appreciate the tape on it for shipping. But, it was tedious removing it and the label on the handle required about 30 minutes and some automotive adhesive remover to get it clean. I think a tag would have been sufficient. Just used this camping and it was great. Clean up easy. Not quite as heavy as a cast iron one. You can clean it up with a couple of paper towels. ... show more

Excellent tailgate griddle with great quality, performance & portability
Excellent product that exceeded my initial expectations. Took to a Penn State tailgate. Cooked a full all day menu, including shrimp wraps and Philly Cheesesteaks. Worked very well. A small propane canister lasted all day with propane to spare. Unit is well made (hinge could be improved), lightweight, very portable and expandable with a side burner. It gets hot quickly and the surface is completely non-stick with zero seasoning needed. Just wipe off and you are ready to go. Purchased a bunch of other Blackstone items, including cooking utensils, portable cutting board and knife set, folding stand, etc. Take note that you cannot use metal cooking utensils or you'll damage the surface. ... show more

Incredibly low build quality
Low quality product. Hinge would not open out of the box. nor would it properly close. Opening once bent the lid where the hinge is mounted. Cooking plate is thin flimsy aluminum with a coat that only accepts silicone tools. The system to lock the plate into place is incredibly hard to align. Have not even used it yet. I have zero faith in this lasting a single weekend camp trip with the poor quality. ... show more
