The media could not be loaded. Let me first say - many of these reviews are misleading… some people have clearly never grilled before and it shows. This arrived a day early. The package was a little beat and wet (it rained after delivery) but to my surprise inside was dry and really well packaged and protected. It is a VERY heavy package so don’t throw your back out trying to lug it up stairs or whatever, have a second person help you. Assembly took all but 30 to 45 minutes - primarily because the pictures can be a little confusing. Also, some of the instructions are a little backwards (some things should be done first instead of later). Otherwise, it was easy to assemble and I only needed a second person for a couple things - primarily to hold pieces while they’re being screwed. You will need a screw driver and a ratchet set, maybe a flat head for some things. I do want to point out that in other reviews, they feel they got a used flat top - it is NOT used. The flat top is pre-seasoned with avocado oil giving the appearance it’s used but this is merely to protect and care for the cast iron. The flat top is VERY heavy and sturdy and will need to be cleaned off tape and styrofoam prior to use. You will also need an AA battery for the ignition button. It fits a standard LP 20lb tank. For those new to grilling… after buying a tank, you need to fill it up so don’t be surprised if you get home and your grill doesn’t work cause your tank weighs as much as a basketball… lol. Anyways, Grill instructions are great with great information for getting started, cleaning, seasoning, repair, etc. KEEP IT! And register it as soon as you get it! I do want to point out, you don’t necessarily need to buy the brand name seasoning oil or anything, this grill can be seasoned with olive oil or lard or crisco… you will need to do this three times or so prior to cooking. The step by step instructions are included in the kit. I’d recommend using a microfiber cloth over a paper towel due to the debris a paper towel leaves behind. Getting this grill started is easy. There are four burners and it takes maybe five minutes or so before it’s hot and smoking. My first time grilling I cooked a steak and some chicken thighs. To my surprise, it came out really good! Cleaning is a quick 5 to 10 minute process as well as re-seasoning the grill after use. The magnetic attachment and hooks on the side make it easy to secure metal cooking utensils and the collapsible side tables/counters are great for holding supplies and food. My favorite feature has to be the heat control - you can have one side of the grill super hot while the middle is lower heat and the other side can be warm and off keeping food from going cold. Five uses later, this thing has been heaven! I haven’t cooked on my stove in almost three weeks and don’t miss it. Meal prep is so easy. Steaks, chicken thighs/tenderloins, pork chops, veggies, rice - I can do it all at once. SO much food! I literally can spend an hour making 20 meals - to keep for three to four days breakfast lunch dinner and extra to store and freeze. I use this twice a week and it makes life so easy. It cooks vegetables so well as does eggs, bacon, rice, potatoes, all cuts of chicken and steak, pork cuts, frozen foods and marinades. It does it all. I don’t see myself using a stove.. unless it rains. I would advise looking into getting a waterproof cover as well as an accessory kit so you’re ready to go!

An absolute must have. We use it for almost al our meals now. Just did breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage and pancake. Meal prep for lunches. Easy clean up. Four burner was great choice.

I've been using my Blackstone Griddle for a few months now, and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect appliance for outdoor cooking, and it's so versatile. I've cooked everything from pancakes to chicken fried rice, to vegetables and burgers plus even desserts. It's always turned out amazing. The griddle is made of heavy-duty steel, so it's very durable. It also has a large cooking surface, so I can cook for a crowd which has been great for summer time get-togethers. The griddle is also very easy to clean, which is a huge plus as this is always a deterrent when thinking about having people over. My family loves what I make on it and I have to say it isn't even hard. The griddle was easy for me to season (I suggest buying their season grease that comes in a small container) Eventually the whole griddle is a nice black sheen that is easy to clean. I would definitely recommend this griddle to anyone who loves to cook outdoors. Pros: Versatile Durable Large cooking surface Easy to clean Cons: None that I've found, although I do suggest keeping it clean after every cook. Overall: A great product that I would definitely recommend.

I recently purchased the Blackstone grill for my husband for an early Father’s Day Gift and it has exceeded our expectations. The assembly process was straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. The grill heats up quickly and evenly, and the ample cooking space allows us to prepare meals for our whole family. The griddle top is a nice added feature, making it easy to cook breakfast or stir fry dishes. The grill's sturdy construction and durable materials make it a great investment for any home chef. We highly recommend the Blackstone grill for anyone in the market for a quality outdoor cooking appliance!

I bought this griddle around memorial day, and it was $280, which is a great buy. It was super simple to assemble, easy to clean, and it works as advertised. That said, one of the key features this griddle is missing, is a hard top cover. After the first time using it, I noticed the griddle was still pipping hot for a long while after using it which, if left uncovered, is extremely dangerous. If buying this version of the griddle, be sure to also buy a griddle hard cover. You can buy a cover from Blackstone but there are also plenty of other third party options as well. Be safe everyone
