I have used this amp for the past 3 years. Dial it in for your needs and kick the heavy tube amps to the curb. It has been flawless and I use two different cabs. One 1x12 for small gigs and a 2x12 for the beastly venues. 2 weeks ago I pulled out my last tube from the closet and and and and..................this one sounds just as good if not better, it just does. It's very stable, unlike tubes that change characteristics per temp, use and age. I sold the tube amp. The software works fine, just DON'T download the latest version and all will be good. Did I mention? Take your time and dial it in for your liking. You will find it. Since I use two different cabs, I can save and load patches for each one. How cool is that? Use a speaker cab or plug into another amp or patch to PA or use them all. 9v output for pedals on board. This thing has so many features too many to mention. BUT THE BEST THING? It weighs 7 lbs. No more broken back from moving $%*#

Shipment arrived on time. The amplifier was packed neatly in three separate boxes, however they all three look like they were dropped off the second floor of a building. Hence the term and title of my review, “Accordianed!” Suppressing enough the product itself was well packed by the manufacturer and the product worked, but not at peak performance. The reverb did not work at all, and the amp did not sound anything close to the reviews. I do wonder if it is due to the rough handling of the packaging? Ya think?? Originally, the seller was supposed to be from the. Chicago Music Exchange Music Store. When the item was returned, it returned to some 3rd party reseller?? WTF, Amazon? Frank

This could have been a cool pedal. It sounded great out of the box. The problem was that I could not get the software. Every time I went to the web page to download it, for some reason it wouldn’t let me. Their customer service online was pretty lame. Without being able to use the software this was not worth what I paid for it. I finally gave up and returned it.

The Amped 3 is a powerful, compact stomp box amp, easy to use on the floor or desk top. I can’t speak to the software part, I just run it into a 4x12. I love the warmth and fullness of my tube amps, (especially my Marshall TSL100), and this ain’t that. It sounds solid state, if that’s a sound. On a medium sized stage, with 1 or 2-4x12 cabs, it will probably sound great because it’s punchy. At home, compared to the Marshall, Orange Rockerverb, Ibanez Thermion 120, Fender Bassman 100t, it sounds solid state, but I wish that this amp was the first one I bought when I was 17! That was a Gorilla GG20!
