  • The best wireless headphone solution for guitar practice
I love these and use them almost daily. They are quality - not cheap. This makes it so easy for me to grab a guitar, plug this in and start practicing within 30 seconds. My only complaint is that I'm not crazy about most of the amp models. The only one I like (and I like it a lot) is the 57 Custom. But that's ok. It sounds great and that's what I like playing. I just have variations of that amp and different gain levels. I like having the four presets I can toggle through and I don't have to use a computer of mobile device to switch presets. The IOS interface is slick and easy. I give this a 10/10. ... show more

  • My review
These meet or exceed all expectations. As a long time Positive Grid fan, they’ve earned my trust over the years by continually releasing cool, innovate, products that are easy to use and most importantly, work very well. When these got announced - I think I actually squealed. This was a product I never thought of wanting, but instantly knew I had a need for the moment I saw it. Alright, enough of that. How are they? For guitar: Incredible. They are so easy to get going, the app could not be better, and the wireless experience is genuinely magical. And the magic is really created by the lack of latency. You’d never know you weren’t plugged in. It’s easy to play guitar by itself, or mix in some music over Bluetooth to jam along. I’m gonna have so much fun with this thing. And also, playing with headphones is simply an experience I’ve never had. I’ve always used an amp. Always. And I never realized how much COOLER headphones make guitar sound! All the effects you apply just bounce around in your head without getting lost in the room. You have to try it to understand, so I highly recommend you do just that. For music: Also incredible. These are also market as just solid Bluetooth headphones. I was less interested in that feature but I figured if they sound good, that’s an added bonus. Well I’m pleased to say these sound PHENOMENAL. As a longtime audiophile I’ll give you my take without the jargon. These sound overall pleasant with obviously boosted bass - but not muddy. Are these flat studio headphones? No. But they’re incredibly clear, otherwise well balanced, and the boost in bass just makes them plain old fun. These will be my new go to “new album” listening headphones. So even though I bought them as a guitar amp, they actually serve two purposes making them an even better value. Overall: I can’t believe the price of these things. Don’t tell the marketing team, but I would have paid a solid $150 more for these without thinking twice. Get them before they catch on. You won’t regret it. Bonus facts: You can use them wired to play guitar. You cannot use the USB-C port for wired music listening. They are comfortable as all heck. The volume buttons only control guitar volume. ... show more

  • Portable, plug & play, great quality
Before I switched to amp sims, I had a Positive Grid Spark 40 which I loved, when the Spark GO was released I was itching to get it but I never managed to get my hands on it. When Bias X was released I was hooked back on the Positive Grid ecosystem. I decided to give these headphones a try due to the small form factor I was looking for in the Spark GO minus all the cables. These arrived this morning and in 5 minutes of unboxing the headphones, I was already plugged in and playing along to some songs. I love the ease of access, simplicity, affordability, and fantastic quality you get. I can finally travel with my guitars and have a whole virtual rig in something as small as headphones, that also function as standalone wireless headphones with decent sound quality when I’m not playing and just want to listen to music. The fit is comfortable, they sometimes feel like I don’t even have them on. Battery life is great, I’ve used them for a hours and they they still have some charge left. I’m very satisfied, and my wife is as well considering I won’t keep her up anymore. ... show more

  • These things are just great
These headphones are absolutely everything I was hoping they would be. They sound outstanding not only for playing guitar and bass and also just as normal music headphones, vinyl records sound fantastic on them. The cordless feature is so convenient. The user interface, incredible. I love them

  • Stopped working after 2nd charge
The transmitter would not connect to the headphones after the second time charging. I charged both the headphones and transmitter when I received them (first time charging). I used the headphones and transmitter without issues until the headphones required recharging. I recharged both (second time charging). When I tried to use both the headphones and transmitter, the transmitter would not connect. I followed all troubleshooting steps including factory reset. The transmitter still would not connect. (The Spark Neo was 1.5 months old at this point.) I contacted customer service. The customer service experience has not been good. I have several emails with Postive Grid where they literally requested the same information I provided in the previous email. I finally got to the point where Positive Grid said that they would replace my Spark Neo. Positive Grid sent me an email requesting the same information that I provided in the previous email so they can provide me a RMA and shipping label. I provided the information. It took 7 days to get back to me with another email requesting information that I provided previously. I provided the requested information. I have no idea if I will actually get a replacement or not. So, I will only be able to use the Neo with a cable which is not why I purchased the product. I am still waiting to receive a RMA and shipping label. My overall suggestion is to think about the need for support and make your decision about purchasing something from Positive Grid (Spark). ... show more
