  • Powerful 50 watt with good options
This fender guitar amp is quite powerful without taking up too much space and it works very well as a practicing camp and certainly is powerful enough for Small to medium sized gigs. The presets are very useful for different tones and styles without having to use a pedal and the programmable slots are very abundant to great custom tones and sounds. It is also fairly easy to travel with without taking up too much space. ... show more

  • Good practice amp
I have had a Frontman for 20 years. I decided to get this for the effects and convenience of not needing my stompboxes just to practice. It works fine. Of course, it is good for rehearsals and easy to carry around. And I learned from my days in a band with the Frontman that this amp is also quite suitable, and loud enough for most small venue gigs. The speaker and Fender solid state electronics are very good sounding, and can give you the kind of tone that works well with Fender guitars, such as the Tele and Strat. Both sound great through it. If it is anywhere near as reliable as the Frontman, this is one you can buy with complete confidence. My R25 is 20 years old and looks and sounds just as good as the day I took it out of the box. My impression of the Mustang is that I can expect the same level of reliability from this solid state combo. But that's Fender; their amps just go on and on, and even the vintage tube models are a joy to own and sound fantastic. My Vibra Champ is 60+ years old and still going strong after recapping a decade ago. ... show more

  • Awesome and Easy
I am not a good guitarist at all! My hearing is shot and that is not helping at all!!!! I got this amp to pair with my two Fender guitars! I have not had the chance to use my other guitars with it!? This amp takes all the messing and guessing out of set ups and sounds awesome on the different factory settings! You have the ability to create your own custom settings if you like! With so many factory settings covering everything you almost don't have to! Simple to use and sounds great as it makes me better than what I am!!!!! ... show more

  • A digital amp from Fenders budget line up. No Bluetooth
A good a amp that could have been great if they had just added Bluetooth but NOOOO. It's in the budget line up so no Bluetooth for you! my only other issue was because my pc has windows 10 and that required a little help from customer service to connect to my music and video apps. All good now tho.

  • This is a great starter amplifier
After borrowing an amp for several years, this is my first amp of my own. I'm really happy with it. I have no doubt that it could do well in a small gig setting, although I use it for my own practice. It's plenty loud enough and has a good range of 30 preset effects as well as 30 more that could be programmed in. Unless you have some very specific needs or a very large venue, this is a great choice for the money. I'm using it with an Amoon wireless system and I have had no issues so far. ... show more

  • Loaded presets, enable playing of wide range of musical styles
I am an intermediate acoustic player who recently started playing electric. As such I have very little background knowledge of foot pedals etc and previously had only a basic amp. The LT50 is just what I need, it has a total of 30 easily accessable presets and room to save another 30 to my own specs. It took me maybe 15 mins for the amp to be usable and fun and gived me access to awesome rock sounds without being a music electronic expert. When you are learning guitar, it helps if the sound equipment is easy and user friendly. The LT50 fits the bill very well. Love it. ... show more

  • Sound quality, versatility.
Excellent tone from the default “Fender Clean” setting but fun to experiment with the other twenty nine built-in presets. Pleased with quality, size, features and value.

  • Sometimes louder isn't necessary better.. (LT50 compared to LT25)
Compared to the LT25, I really like the fact that it has a Mid tone knob instead of just Bass and Treble. However, compared to the LT25 it was very midrangy, and if I tried to dial it out to a similar tone to the LT25 it got muddy really quick. Don't get me wrong, the LT50 isn't a bad amp, but I was hoping for similar tone to my LT50 but with more bass response. However, the LT25 actually had more bass at similar volumes. (possibly due to the closed cab of the LT25). The LT50 can definitely get much louder than the LT25 for sure, but the LT50 has more of a harsher loudspeaker sound, compared to the more hifi sound of the LT25. (Also regarding the LT25 and LT50, it sure would have been nice if fender would have put the noise gate in the effects bracket for the chorus and such, instead of in the same bracket as the distortions, it's a bummer than you can't use and overdrive and a noise gate, but it is what it is..) ... show more
