I thought the stethoscope was pretty good quality, considering the price. I needed it for a medical assisting course and didn't want to splurge on a Littmann, since I wouldn't be getting much use out of it after the course. The stethoscope was pretty clear and I could hear most every heart beat I looked for, however practice is always key.
