I was surprised how much heat this curtain can keep out. Metallic outer surface reflects the sunlight. It provides complete blackout and helps cool down the room. Comes with more than enough velcro pieces to secure it around the window.

My only complaint is that it needs more velcro. I got the smallest amount in fabric and it covered 2 and a half windows, so if you need more windows, order bigger. I bought this fabric for my mobile home because (by poor design and how they come) most thermostats are by the front door/windows and the heat from windows had my AC kick on constantly.
