I wanted to do this review to help those who are undecided about this roof rack. First of all, I wasn't going to pay the high price of the other competitors for this product, so I decided to buy this one and the truth is, to be honest, I liked it. Not only does it look good, but it's strong and of good quality, and for what I'm going to use it, it was unnecessary to pay a high price for a roof rack. The shipping was super fast, in a few days, I received everything well packaged, except that the instructions are a bit confusing when installing the supports because they are not very well illustrated or specifically marked. So you have to read them carefully so as not to waste time when installing. Everything else was normal, I had no problems, although it was my first time doing this type of installation on my 4 Runner. If you want to save more than a thousand dollars, this is one of the options. Good luck!!!!

Non-drilling option install was easy with 1 person. the rack is solid! Comes with lots of extra mounting options. My ONLY complaint would be the quality of the screws which can be switched out for nicer stainless options later if needed. I LOVE the look of this rack and its functional! I have a Nilight Led Light Bar Amber 41 Inch 200W Super Slim Spot Flood Combo mounted using the Niilight mounting hard installed backwards so it fits. The rack generates some wind noise but nothing insane. The light bar whistled like crazy until I put some rubber car door edge protector on the back vents which solved that issue. Great value compared to the $1000 plus category and perfect for the weekend warrior who isn't loading it up to the extreme.

Was tired of seeing racks for sale on FB marketplace in Denver metro for near new prices or sometimes even more. Took a chance on this 4Runner rack as I've installed expensive 1500.00 rhinos and platforms before, wasn't always impressed with them- and didn't feel like spending that this time. The quality of this kit is actually surprising, all holes line up well, powder coat is solid, gasket on front cowl is good. Steel perimeter frame with aluminum middle channels. Comes with 4 handlebars, awning brackets, and front light bar mounts. The instructions are laughable but if you're handy or know accessories you'll be ok. Put the side rails together and install them first, save you the headache of lifting the whole deal and then trying to line up. I reused the Toyota roof rack bolts (with rubber washers) and mounted at 4 points, deciding not to drill the other 4 points. I've done this before using double sided tape at the 4 other locations directly on the stock channel rubbers. I sprayed each hardware connection with fluid film as this unit is steel, helps seal it up and live longer. Wind noise starts at 65-75 like all racks do to some degree.

Nearly half the price of the main competitors with the exact same functionality. I was on the fence on buying this a year ago and I'm glad I bought it! Its been great, sturdy and gets the job done. I've mounted my rooftop tent and had my whole family sleep in the tent with no issues with the rack.

I wanted a rack for my 2014 trail 4runner and I didn't have a set budget. The only issue that sets me apart from others is that I live in Alaska and every other rack company was charging almost half the rack just to get it up here, so free shipping on this one made it very tempting. It was a no brainer honestly. What's the worse that could happen, I return it? I ordered it and hoped it would actually get delivered. I'm happy to say it got here right on time, and in good condition. I looked everything over and all the pieces seemed pretty well cut, so that was a good sign. The metal for the side seemed flimsy at first, but once I started adding everything together and tightning stuff down it took any bowing or slack out, and I'd say it's super stiff now amd I'm not even worried. A few tips. If you decide to drill the holes for the extra support brackets, start with a small drill bit and get a pilot hole going, and then switch to the 7/16th. Also add a small piece of PVC over the drill bit as a backstop once you get through the hole. I almost drilled through my headliner. All in all the rack is great, and has all the features you'd be paying for with other racks, the instructions were very clear, and shipping and packaging were spot on. I'd recommend it to anyone, easily.

Iv had this rack since August 2024. It felt decent the first year. Slowly after that it started to build rust on corners and throughout the frame. Bad patches of rust. I live in south texas so no snow. Minimal rain

Looks cool once assembled. It used 2 factory anchor points however the rack is designed for 4 on each side. I didn’t want to drill into my truck so the front is kinda loose. Hopefully it won’t slide around when I have a load up there. Instructions are terrible and don’t really go In order. Hopefully it doesn’t rust in a year
