My husband wasn't so keen on the pink with the black, but oh well, it wasn't for him...LOL. I bought her a name tag that is also pink so she matches....LOL. Our female pit/lab mix goes into a stream almost daily and we found that leather collars just don't hold up to her pulling on the leash or her chain (when we take her out somewhere where we need to chain her up). She broke the last leather collar just with one jerk (an expensive Hamilton). The d-ring just ripped through the leather. This collar seems to be holding up well. It gets wet and she has jerked on the d-ring a few times but it has stayed intact. I think part of the issue with the leather ones is that it doesn't dry fast enough. This collar dries quicker. Another issue is that most leather collars are heavier and not as wide. This one is light weight and wider, which helps if we walk her on the leash versus her harness. I would suggest these to someone who has a medium to large dog.

I got this for my 8 year old whipador who’s tough on collars. The quality of this collar is incredible, however my dogs neck size is between holes - one being too loose where I can slip it over her head and the other being too tight so I am forced to return it. If black rhino made this exact collar with a clasp instead of a buckle I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

The collar is fantastic! The material is sturdy but soft and not super heavy. The way it sits on our boy the tag stays to the side and not dangling in the front which I like. The finish on the leash ring has started to rub off so it looks copper instead of silver but it still looks good.

Very nice collars. I bought 4. They seem to be comfortable on each of the dogs. However, the tabs for the ID fell off of two of our dogs’ collars. Granted, sometimes they play a little rough with each other, but the tabs fell off pretty quickly. So I wish that part was more durable under stress. If my dog were to get lost and it snagged on some bushes or a tree, it seems it would come off pretty easy.
