I love this brush! I have decently straight hair that is very fine so it gets tangled at the slightest movement. Usually brushing out those knots is super painful and rips out my hair, but I have not had any super painful brush outs or hair rippage at all. I use this brush everyday. I also bring the comb in my back pack to college everyday just in case and the comb is wonderful too. I used the comb for a while right after I got out of the shower and it didn’t hurt or pull my hair. The brush is very good quality and the wood is not rough at all even after getting it wet. The comb is very smooth as well and the teeth are very sturdy. It’s a bit of an hassle to clean out, but it’s worth it. Over all this was well worth the money and I would buy again.

I bought this brush for my son back in 2020 (so 5 years ago!) and the brush is still going strong. Does it look new? No, but it's still in amazing shape and I haven't lost any bristles. This is by far the best detangling brush I have ever used. My son used to have long, curly hair when he was younger and having a good detangle brush was a must. My son has much shorter hair now but I use this brush on my daughter's long hair. It is the only brush that she doesn't scream and cry when I brush her out. The brush handle is also super easy to hold and doesn't feel bulky at all. Overall, best brush I've ever used!

I want to preface this with saying my hair is already damaged since I used to bleach and dye it often, if your hair is already healthy then you might not have the same issues I did. My hair is very fine and it's always been frizzy while drying, but I don't think this brush helped much. It was difficult to run it through my hair even after going in with a detangling brush first and actively made it even frizzer than before; this is especially true for the shorter layers in my hair. It kind of feels abrasive even when I'm brushing my hair while its oily before a shower. I'm not expecting a brush to be super soft or whatever, but I don't think it would suit anyone with sensitive skin/scalp or if you already have damaged hair. It didn't work as a detangler, it didn't work as a normal brush, I ended up just using it to brush my dog's fur instead of my hair so it wouldn't be a wasted purchase. It works fine on their fur, and their fur is a lot thicker than my hair, so... Maybe you'll have better luck if you have thick hair? Not a great comparison but it's something. So like... Yeah it brushes your hair so it functions as a brush, but I think I'll stick with other types of brushes since it just didn't work for me.
