Sturdy and fairly easy to install if you have a bit of know-how. The set does not come with any instructions, but is pretty self explanatory. Sturdy, colorful and nice variety of hand/foot rocks. My 6yo son loves it!

    • Updated Review : Tee Nuts are M10, not 3/8
Update: Seller was in contact and offered to pay for my purchase of correct sized nuts. Seller did not have to do that, so good on them. I dont want the seller to have to pay for additional things, its my own blunder to think that all rock wall would use the exact same type of hardware. My hope is that the product description will be updated to include the nut size. Buyer beware, the seller does not specify what kind of tee nut is needed. Product description simply says "weld nut." Found out the hard way that they use metric size M10. Had my board (144 holes) preloaded with 3/8 tee nuts (normal for rock wall, especially in the good old U S of A) only to find out the bolts arent compatible. Just would be nice to no that the bolts they send only work with that nut. When contacted seller for some extra nuts to fill my holes, told no they dont have any nuts. Ummmm..... you send them with the product, how do you not have them? So, yeah, dont buy this if you have a wall preloaded with the standard normal 3/8 rockwall tee nuts. Do buy this if you plan on using only the sellers hardware. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The holds feel good. I like that there are various colors and shapes as my daughter tends to climb the route with the pink ones. The screws are strong. Worth the buy. My daughter’s calves and forearms are shredded.

I don't understand why other people are reviewing these negatively. I had no issues with these cracking during installation and I used an impact gun to tighten them. The provided bolts are long because they are designed to be "through bolted" for maximum stability. As far as grip, these are not professional rock climbing holds. They are an inexpensive option for a DIY kids playset. There is plenty of grip and you can vary how they mount for easy or harder options. I built a playset for my 3 year old and wanted some rock climbing holds for him to be able to practice climbing safely. These have large enough grip options to allow small climbers to safely practice, and small enough options to create some challenging routes if you want. Of course you can mount them in a variety of ways to change the complexity of the climb from super easy to a little more complex. You could also use them for grip strength practice and mount them anywhere for adult use. ... show more

I used a 3/4" piece of plywood and anchored it against the studs in my living room to make a small climbing wall for my kids. The included M10 bolts are WAY too long - Here is a photo of one of the included bolts screwed all the way in - until it touches the drywall behind the plywood. I ended up buying 30mm M10 bolts that work great - however two of the grips are so thin that I need to get some 20-25mm bolts to attach them. I also found that these holds are not very grippy. My kids' hands start to slip even after they grab hold - they don't have that same roughness that you find at a rock climbing gym. I'm not necessarily going to buy different grips at this point, it's a small wall and this makes it a little more challenging - even if unintentionally. ... show more

I put this on our hideout/swing set. I have 2 babies that love to climb. Great product. Kids love it! I built a slanted wall. I used a router bit in my drill the same size as the bolts.
