Also their older models allowed you to go directly to red regardless of the mode the headlamp was shut off in, and this is no longer supported. Used this to replace some bigger older headlamps. Used for elk and deer hunting and general camping. Love the lock feature so it doesnโ€™t turn on in my bag and waste the battery. Definitely worth the money.

I have no complaints with this headlamp, but I will most likely be returning for the Storm R 500. I didn't realize it has a 4 hour max burn time on full power vs Storm R 500 7 hour max burn time on full power. I'll take the extra weight for almost double the battery life.
