    • Nice lights but minor issues
Nice lights, low profile easy to connect with Alexa. Minor gripe is that there is no adapter to splice two wires together to get a longer length of cable. I needed to span the distance across a 4 foot window to join two sections of cabinets and the longest included wire was to short. I will have to just buy some low voltage wire and cut and splice. A couple of connection adapters or user installable cable plug ends would make this much more user friendly when you are needing to cover longer spans. That or just do away with the plug type cables altogether and utilize screw on terminals on the lamps and provide a bundle of wire. Overall I would buy again. ... show more

    • Well Made, Great Color Temps
These seem very well made and offer 4 flavors of color temp with a dimming option. I usually leave them on constant on full blast. They do get a little warm but nothing concerning. The color temp options allow you to choose from the more yellow end of the spectrum to the more white daylight end. I prefer more in the middle. I haven’t had any problems with flickering or randomly turning off or anything. Only drawback is the price but I think they are worth it. ... show more

    • Stunningly Simple
I added these in my kitchen and a closet space. The best advice I can give anyone looking to purchase these is to lay them all out first! Seriously, plug them in and lay them out where you think you want them. Once you have all the jumpers (the wires that connect one set of lights to another) connected and spaced how you want them, the process is SO simple. I used a 5/8" drill bit to remove barriers between cupboards and ran the wires through the holes. After that, it really was as simple as connecting clips to the lights, unpeeling some 3M tape, and mounting lights where they needed to be (there's a 2.5" piece of cardboard in the kit that makes getting the exact spacing simple. From there, I used their wire clips to move wires where they needed to be. The whole process was only confounded by the microwave. I used a longer jumper that is available online to bridge that connection. The whole system was already in my devices list for Alexa, so all we had to do was change the device name to something we could remember and poof, we were done. Additional bonus: bought these on Prime Day and saved a ton! Even at full price, they are worth every penny. ... show more

Best lighting product I have ever purchased. Totally worth the price. Alexa integration nearly instantaneous. Slim design is perfect for my inside cabinet lighting needs. Wiring and controls provided are excellent and super easy to install. Color and brightness options are great. This was super easy to install and works great with the hand sensor and with Alexa. Contractors quoted us $1500 to add sunder cabinet lighting. With this kit and a few extra supplies we did it ourselves for under $250. 12 out of 10 would recommend!

    • You get what you pay for.
These cabinet lights are a good, solid product. I bought these for a friend and we installed them in her kitchen - the third cabinet lights we tried. The first set was one with 3 small led lights on a short strip of tape linked together with short wires. The leds were bright and light was cast sideways as well as down so the back splash was well lighted. However, the tape mounting strips eventually fell off the cabinet and the on/off control failed. The 2nd set were similar but the wiring was sloppy and of questionable safety so they were not even worth installing. The B&D 9 inch, 6 light set, was much more substantial than either of the first 2 and more expensive. Not quite as bright and light casts downward, not so much on the back splash. There are 3 light color choices and all are dimmable. They were easy to connect to Alexa and worked well with her guidance. There is also a motion sensor on/off control with dimming capability and 2 choices for plugging in connector wires. Each light strip mounts in 3 small clips that have adhesive tape that sticks to the under side of the cabinet. The light strip can slide back and forth in the clips and are connected to each other with wires with small plugs on the end. The only install downside is the kit includes several lengths of these connector wires and it is not possible to order other lengths except for one a108 inches long. Wire clips with adhesive strips hold the connector wires between strips and we found the extra length of the connector could be looped up into cracks between the cabinets. Lastly the light strip clips have a hole in them so it is possible to use a small screw (provided) to fasten the clip to the cabinet. However the adhesive mounting tape was a good quality and has held well, so far. Alexa compatibility adds much to the value of this light kit. I love these under cabinet lights!! They have such a thin profile and so they’re easy to place anywhere. I recently moved in with my partner and they’re a (gasp) Google household, so these aren’t as convenient since they’re only compatible with Alexa, but if you’re an Alexa household - highly recommend!! ... show more
