I have tried numerous other coffees and always return to this one. Dark roast, organic, decaf. It’s not easy to find a decaf dark roast that is rich and smoky like this one. We are sick of Starbucks for various reasons, so we tried many coffees and landed on this one. It is always rich with a nice, smooth finish and great flavor. The last batch we got was terribly bitter, so we will keep our eye on it. We will still order it, but keep our taste buds on high alert. Hoping it was a one time thing.     • Has really good flavor
I use a percolator and this morning I ground some of these beans. It takes a lot less coffee to make a good pot. This had a good aroma when I opened the package and while it perked. It didn't look very dark when it was done, but was really tasty. Will definitely buy again.

Q: Why are ALL the “Best If Used By” DATES MISSING on the ALL the Amazon and other webpages? A: Because this coffee will have a fresh window of little more than a couple of weeks when you receive it. Too bad because this coffee is phenomenal if you like dark roast. Allegro should correct this for its online customers instead of forcing us to go to Whole Foods just to ensure a relatively fresh product. I'm pretty picky about coffee. My usual is Starbucks french roast. This is a great coffee bean on its own, but lately I've been mixing the beans with my Starbucks and it makes my morning coffee much more delicious. Highly recommend
