Personal use
I recently acquired the Black and Decker Detail Sander, and I must say, it’s a game-changer for my woodworking projects. This detail sander has become an invaluable tool in my workshop, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. First and foremost, the power of this sander is remarkable. It effortlessly tackles various surfaces, from wood to metal, and leaves behind a smooth finish. The motor’s strength ensures quick and efficient sanding, saving me valuable time on my projects. What sets this detail sander apart is its precision. The triangular-shaped sanding pad is perfect for reaching tight corners and intricate details that are otherwise hard to sand manually. It allows me to achieve a professional-quality finish on even the most delicate workpieces. The ergonomic design of the sander enhances comfort during extended use. The grip is comfortable to hold, reducing hand fatigue, and the compact size allows for excellent control over the tool. This level of control is crucial, especially when working on smaller items or detailed projects. I also appreciate the thoughtful dust collection system. It effectively captures a significant portion of the dust, keeping my workspace cleaner and reducing the need for frequent cleanups. The transparent dust canister makes it easy to monitor the level of debris and empty it when needed. The overall build quality of the Black and Decker Detail Sander is impressive. It feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence that it will withstand regular use over the long term. As someone who values versatility, I find this detail sander to be an incredibly versatile addition to my toolkit. It excels in various applications, including refinishing furniture, restoring old woodworking pieces, and prepping surfaces for painting. In conclusion, the Black and Decker Detail Sander has exceeded my expectations with its power, precision, and user-friendly design. It’s an essential tool for any woodworking enthusiast or DIY hobbyist. Whether you’re a seasoned woodworker or just starting, this detail sander will undoubtedly enhance your projects and deliver outstanding results. Great for furniture flips
I used this for a recent furniture flip and was impressed by how powerful it was. Needless to say, the dust catcher is lacking which is why I knocked off a star. I don’t mind this though because I swept up all the dust anyway. In terms of power, it is wonderful and will last me many projects.

Get the right sanding pads for this..
I like this machine, handles well and does the job but their dust collector is no good of course. Sanding paper is a little hard to find but I did find the right type for this machine. I am experiencing some unusual sounds. Hope its not dying. @ less than a week. Please make this machine a bit better B&K

Great little sander
Very powerful , relatively quiet for what it is and the smaller sanding attachment works very well. The dust collector bin leaves a lot to be desired , but besides that it is very effective in sanding and very comfortable on the hands

Works Well
I’m refinishing the side of my garage which is cedar. And this little sander really did a great job. It’s strong, not too loud and very handy, easy to manipulate while on a ladder. I’m happy with the purchase as a cut me through the job really well.
