Nice little gadget. The original chopper was a little sturdier. What this one needs is a couple of ribs on the blade mechanism as it gets a little slick, uneasy to grab either when you are grinding foods or when your hands are wet when cleaning.

I use this to make egg salad-it chops the eggs finely and quickly. I can now have my egg salad without the strain of mashing the eggs manually and it's easy to clean. I don't know how it would be for uses other than eggs.

This handy little chopper handles it all in a flash. A quick few presses on the lid and everything is shredded.
