This is a trash product not worth the money I bought three of these cooling fans and all three are weak, cool nothing and one broke on day two. Not even worth having on your desk close by you they leak water and are very fragile one of the worst products I’ve ever gotten.

This was a lifesaver in a classroom with 30 kids and no ac. It is a USB plug in. It is very quiet. There is a reservoir to put water in for cooling. With two speeds, I am happy to have had this in handy! It does more than it looks like it could.

I tend to be a fan of Black and Decker's stuff, but this was a significant disappointment. Quick notes: 1) the water reservoir is super small, difficult to see through the window for whether it's full or not, and exhausts quickly. 2) i bought it on April 30. It's June 10. It shorted out today and will no longer function. 3) The "coolness" output was questionable. It honestly was not much better than a regular desk fan. 4) If you overfill it, the water moves immediately to the fan blades and sputters all over your desk (or wherever you have it). I had a competitor's cooler for a little over a year and thought that it wasn't a great purchase, but this one is worse by all metrics. I still love my Black & Decker home drill and other products, but this one needs more work from Product Development before it should be broadly distributed. ... show more

I used it for a month for hot sleeping. It had to be on my nightstand and blowing close to me. If I had a sheet on I couldn't feel it but that area of my body didn't get as hot overnight. The hole isn't big enough to put ice in so it's blowing only slightly cool air. It made my room eventually feel more humid than cool. ... show more

It works ok once the pad gets wet. The three star rating is due to the vents in the front. Only 2 of them were in when I received the product. I put the others back in like the two that made it through shipping. But they will not move with the switch! Very cheap plastic that is pretty much useless. I was a sceptic, didn’t think it would really do much at all but was pleasantly surprised at how well it cools off a small area. Put it a foot away from yourself and it actually cools you down. Highly disappointed. Stopped cooling after two weeks. Fan works however using the water part of the product does not work anymore. Does not feel sturdy. Unsure about battery life, I kept it plugged in. When it did cool properly it was very nice! A little louder than expected but tolerable.
