I kid you not. I have gone through about 5 ac units in the past year. This one is finally the one i’m going to keep. it’s powerful, it’s cold, its relatively quiet (the noise actually helps me sleep) most units I’ve tried the fans have been weak even on the highest setting. this one, I use the fan on medium and it’s perfect! i’m very happy, I just hope it lasts! ... show more

This unit is very easy to assemble, but had to wait until the next day to turn it on. The box had no, "This Side Up" sticker. So,the unit was shipped in a larger box with no packing, on it's side. This causes the oil in the compressor to drain out to the coils. It did make some concerning sounds when I first turned it on, but it is cooling like a champ and sounds like it should. The seller was right on with the delivery date, just needs to be aware it needs to sit on it's bottom. I am enjoying a cool garage to work in! The discharge vents are quite superior to most units and help in projecting the cool air, I can feel it blowing 12-15 feet away. Good unit and good seller. I just happen to be an old retired HVAC Guru and like to pass on some knowledge when I can. These units are simple, no electronics to fry, last for years and now more efficient too! My house has been atleast 80 to 85 degrees every summer since we bought it 5 yrs ago, and that's with central air. I've barely had to use the medium or high setting with this window unit. It keeps my whole house cool and it's 2 stories 1500 Sq feet. It's not silent, but it's not at all loud either. It's also helped my electric bill, since the central air doesn't have to work as hard. This compact A/C unit is easy to install and works well at cooling a small room. (The room my unit is in is roughly 13' X 13'). It's reasonably quiet, but still kicks out very cold air when cooling. I've only had it for a few days so far, but it has performed well and I'm glad I bought it.
