This fantastic portable AC is Wifi-controlled through the BLACK+DECKER iOS or Android app, which is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Our AC, humidifier and fan comes with a fully functional remote control, 24-hour timer, 2 cooling + 2 fan speeds, auto water evaporation, casters for easy mobility and a removable washable filter. This 3-in-1 AC includes a window kit for a hassle-free installation. Enjoy a cool breeze in warmer months and enhanced air circulation year-round. Are there any guidelines for installation? The air conditioner should be placed on a firm floor to minimize noise and vibration. The unit has casters to aid placement, but it should be rolled on smooth, flat surfaces. It also must be placed within reach of a properly rated grounded socket. How do I connect to the app? A code is provided which allows smartphones to download and install the app. For Android users, open the Google “Play Store” and search “SmartLife-Smartliving,” Does the AC unit work with Alexa? Yes. You will need an Alexa device such as Amazon Echo, Echo Dot set up with the Alexa APP according to manufacturer’s instructions. The device should be powered on and connected to a Wifi network. I transport this unit to another room? Always transport your air conditioner in a vertical position and stand on a stable, level surface during use. Do I have to drain the unit when using it as a dehumidifier? When the water level reaches a predetermined level, the “full tank” indicator light on the control panel will blink. A buzzer will sound and the unit will shut off. The unit will have to be drained.

Came with a missing part. Reached out the black + decker, and they said they didn’t have the part and it would take forever basically.. If it wasn’t for amazons team getting in touch to send a new unit, I would return this. Make sure your package is fully assembled before even touching it. I like this Air Conditioner and it cools my bedroom but the reason why I did not give it five stars is because it is loud. It was very easy to install. I am using it in my bedroom and it is hard to sleep. It was good for the price, love the remote and the size of the unit. I suggest buying it but not for a small bedroom. ... show more

This is a great unit for a room. Don't expect it to cool your living room or a large master bedroom. Take some measurements to make sure. 350 sq. Feet. Keeping that in mind you will be satisfied with how well it cools and how fast. The wifi smart technology is an advantage. You can turn it on from wherever and get it going before you get home. It has a cool swing blade for great circulation. The dehumidifier is a neat feature but the reservoir fills up really quick. You'll need the hose that it comes with and a drip pan or bucket if you want to be using this feature for awhile. Installation is easy and quick. I can't stress this enough. Wait 24 hours before use! This is important. Be patient. I highly recommend it especially for the price. Awesome product. You can't go wrong. ... show more

    • Unable to change temperature
Purchased until on 4/10/2026. Have run it occasionally since then. You can no longer change the temperature with the controls on the unit. The only way to increase or decrease the set temperature is via the remote control. Have reach out to Black and Decker with no response.

I bought two of these in March. Shipping was fast, did not open them until yesterday when we was about to set them up. They were supposed to be NEW, I did not order USED. They cool well, however the filter on one was used and dirty, and the other was missing the window duct attachment. Too far out to submit a return, and not getting anywhere with the Black and Decker website for replacement parts yet. Otherwise good product, lesson learned on check the boxes on arrival. I usually don't have problems with my Amazon purchases, I guess I got complacent. ... show more
