For the price, you won’t find a better fixture. This is a pretty standard light fixture for a bathroom h with the three lights. This is nice because the shades are opaque, so don’t show the actual bulb, but just the light. It’s simple, well-made, and easy to install. It connects to your wall using a standardized plate and 3 wires. If you’ve never installed one, just look at YouTube for how easy it is. I'm currently in the process of rejuvenating my bathrooms without making major structural changes, and it's been impressive to see how such simple things, like this light fixture, can completely change the look and feel of an outdated bathroom! Until recently, I had never done more than change a lightbulb on a lamp, so pulling down my old fixture to install this made me a tad nervous. Thankfully, it was much easier than expected. Everything I needed for the installation process was included, and after reading the instructions I also watched a couple of tutorials of people installing similar lighting units to make sure I had a full grasp on everything. After putting everything together, flipping the fuse back on, and seeing this light up over the bathroom sink and vanity, I was thrilled! It looks exactly like the photo with great brightness. I recently installed a black matte towel rod which matches perfectly with the black hardware on this light set, which ties the room together nicely. The design is very classic. It's in style without appearing super trendy and would work in an old farmhouse, a new build, and everything in between. I feel this is crucial for a bathroom because it has staying power. It's not something that will appear outdated in a year or two. That in itself adds a lot of value since I won't have to spend extra time or money replacing it when the style changes. Got this to replace light fixture in our bathroom that needed an updated look. The existing fixture had the exposed light bulbs that would nearly blind me but sure did light up the room. This is much gentler on the eyes while still providing plenty of light. Please note that it does NOT come with lightbulbs. My bulb of choice at the big box store was LED lights. This is very simple to install - basic normal light installation. It covers the already existing wiring hole in the wall above the mirror with no problem. I was pleasantly surprised after opening up this light fixture. While the light itself, is a pretty basic, modern design - what surprised me was how lovely the lampshades are. The pictures don't do them justice - they are a milky white glass but what you don't see in the listing pictures are the lines that wrap horizontally around the lampshade. So, this is a decent lamp. But, you assemble two halves to make one 6 bulb fixture. It comes with a set screw to secure the 2 halves. The set screw immediately pulled out of the threads rendering it useless. I had to drill and tap new threads to get it "usable". If you have big hands, you'll have a hard time attaching the globes for the lights. The wiring isn't the best. 6 black and 6 white wires you have to connect on your own. Once mounted with the supplied mounting hardware, the lamp isn't firmly attached. If you touch it, it will move a bit. Once I had it mounted it looked nice, but I would never buy another one. Next time I'll go to a brick and mortar to look at overall quality. Good luck if you buy and aren't handy or experienced. ... show more
