    • Check the total width of your tire span first.
It is fairly lightweight and stores easily. I would highly recommend that you measure the total width of your tires before buying. If the total width is 36" or less, then this will fit fine. A 38" width may squeak in. I am, and would suggest, putting some blocks under the mower for safety. I tried using a drill and it started overheating just using the lift empty. So I have to use the crank. I do have strong concerns about the lift mechanism. The pin that holds it does not instill any confidence in me. Not sure if am going to continue using it due to my unease. I may just go back to a few cinder blocks with ramps that I can move away once up on the blocks. ... show more

Works as advertised. Saved me a lot of work not having to drop the mower deck on my 42" tractor. One thing not shown in the info or video; tractors should jacked by the front wheels (where most of the weight is). And, after jacking the tractor up, be sure to put a block under the rear wheel before working underneath. ... show more

    • Gets the job done
The jack looks ok but if you don’t have tools to make it work, don’t buy it It said its opening is 40” but it was 37. My riding mower needed 39.5” and it doesn’t come with extra holes to expand. I used metal drill to create new holes and expand the width. Than had to get extra washers to secure the screws and nuts. I had to lean it next to my foundation to prevent it from slipping and get the wheels in. But when I did, it lifted enough to get the job done. I wouldn’t take it up as it shows on the picture as A it has no security mechanism, B most likely your drill can not push it up that high For the price it is ok I guess and it is $30 cheaper than similar device with similar issues ... show more

This box will be heavy. Like really heavy. But the best part is that it's heavy enough to be durable and useable. Of course I haven't got multiple seasons of use out of it, so the long term durability is unknown, but it works for now.

Works to lift my Troy Bilt TB30 riding lawn mower to clean the bottom and check blade sharpness. Also helps to lift when performing oil changes so oil drips into the pan easier. Easy to put together. You will need a power drill or a hand tool to manually lift. As always make sure the spark plug is removed and keys out of ignition before performing any maintenance underneath a lawn mower. ... show more

This thing works great and is an absolute game changer! I wish i would have gotten one of these (or made one) years ago! It may not be the prettiest tool in the shed, and aside from the threaded portion, it kinda looks like something a novice welder threw together in his spare time—but hey, like I said, it works great! It’s relatively small and compact considering what it’s capable of lifting, and it weighs a fraction of my automotive jacks. Plus, since it folds flat, it stores relitively well and easy. Now, let’s be real—it’s not lifting any cars, but it hoists my Craftsman rider like it’s nothing using just an 18V drill. (Pro tip: Do not use an impact driver unless you want to snap the stud clean off and have a bad time.) As for sturdiness—well, it’s got that “made in a guy’s garage” charm, even down to the weld spatter that got painted right over. But at the end of the day, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and that’s what matters. If you own a riding mower, highly recommend grabbing one of these. Or if you’re looking for a gift for that guy who already has everything (except an easier way to work on his mower), this would definately be a winner. 5 stars for usefulness, 4 for build quality, and a solid 5 overall for being a total game-changer! ... show more

This lawn mower lifting platform is well-made, and very sturdy. It's relatively simple to set up and use, and it works great. It's a real time saver for cleaning under the mower deck, as well as changing blades out, etc. I'm happy with it , and would recommend it to others.
