Description

Forget lugging around a heavy vacuum while cleaning, the BISSELL CleanView is lightweight and powerful, meaning it’s easy to maneuver from room to room and still packs the powerful punch needed to clean multiple surfaces. Dirt and debris are no match for the OnePass Brush Roll, providing a satisfactory clean on the first pass. Plus, with Scatter-Free Technology, you can clean with confidence knowing you’re picking up even the hard-to-see, debris from the floor. But we also know messes are not contained to the floor, so the CleanView comes with specialized tools like the TurboBrush Tool, Dusting Brush, Crevice Tool, and Extension Wand, which all store on board and are always within reach while cleaning. And when your cleaning is complete, maintaining the machine is simple with the Easy Empty Dirt Tank, which empties straight into the trash with the easy push of a button. Its washable filters and multi-level filtration system also keeps the CleanView running like new, so it’s ready to clean whenever and wherever the messes happen. Removes most surface debris based on visual test BTP0221. Buying this product saves pets. BISSELL proudly supports BISSELL Pet Foundation and its mission to help save homeless pets. When you buy a BISSELL product, you help save pets, too. We’re proud to design products that help make pet messes, odors and pet homelessness disappear.

  • I love it!
Style: CleanView Orange
It still works perfectly after a little over a year of use. Great vacuum at an affordable price.

  • Great lower priced vacuum, especially for hard floors
Style: CleanView Orange
I have waited until after having used this vacuum several times before writing this review. We'll start with the Pros & move on to the Cons... Pros: It is fantastic on hard floors, that is for sure! My house has them throughout but I put down carpet as rugs in most rooms and down the hallway. This vacuum goes seamlessly over them back and forth. Although, I do swap levels sometimes (level 2 for hard and 3 for carpet). It can also vacuum rugs without chewing them up. One thing I cannot stand with most vacuums is that when going over hard floors they fling debris backwards and you can feel it hitting your feet as you work. This vacuum doesn't do that and I think it is the Scatter Free or OnePass technology at work, which is by far my favorite feature. Definitely helps in not having to make multiple passes or being frustrated when finished because you find stuff everywhere you just vacuumed. Plus when on the lower setting (2), it almost feels like it polishes the floor a little under your feet. Maybe that's just because the brushes are still pretty new. Next, and this is my preference, but I love the orange color. The attachments are fairly easy to work with as well, albiet slightly in the way sometimes. The foot pedals for tilt & power are also big, easy to identify (the power pedal is red) and push. The canister also empties easily. This vacuum also has PLENTY of suction, which makes using it a breeze. Most of the time one pass is all you need. It's also not very heavy in my opinion. Cons: There aren't many but I do have to say that the lack of a light on the front sometimes leaves me wishing there was one. That can probably be remedied easily with an LED light strip or something if you care to rig one up. Next, after having just tried using it for the first time a few minutes ago, the "turbo brush" attachment pretty much sucks, no pun intended. The spin of the brush is based off of suction and despite there being plenty of it, as soon as I tried to use it on my couch it stopped spinning almost immediately. The suction was still there to get the job done, but the brush itself seems pointless. The length of the cord is fine but where the hose is positioned on the back and how it wraps up on the top side can be a little tight. An easy remedy is just to disconnect the hose while you wrap the cord and then reattach. It also seems like the cord is just long enough to wrap up and have the end of the cord where it snaps in place be right at the upper or lower loop where it can't snap on, forcing you to leave it slightly loose. Personally this is a pet peeve that I get really annoyed by so I try not to think about it too much lol. Finally, the last flaw I can really come up with is that the handle doesn't tilt all that far without the brush coming off the floor. No idea what the max tilt angle is but just going under my kitchen table caused it to come off the ground, and that's not exactly low. VERDICT: Overall this is a great budget vacuum. For roughly $100 I really don't think you can go wrong. I don't have pets but do have two young children and cleaning up behind them with this thing is a cinch. ... show more

  • Does a great job.

Powerful suction. Has upholstery/stairs attachment. Everything works great on this vacuum. For the price you can't beat it.

  • Halloween colors? Really?
Style: CleanView Orange
My parrots hate the colors and growl at the vacuum every time I take it out to use it. They'll adjust, but that surprised me. I'm not crazy about black and orange either, but I don't consider a vacuum cleaner a decor item so I ordered it knowing it didn't look great. Appearance is why I deducted one star. There's another better color that is also lightweight, but it's a swivel and that offsets the comfort factor I was seeking with the lighter weight. Pros: 1. It's a very good vacuum for the price. 2. Suction is amazing. Perhaps better than I've ever had before. This is the main reason we buy a vacuum. 3. Dirt canister empties easily, and the rear wheels are large enough that they don't catch on anything, which was a problem with my other vacuum. 4. It's also fairly light for a full function vacuum. I miss the retractable cord, but this vacuum at least put large enough hangers so you don't have to fight with the cord to rewind it. 5. The canister has a handle on the top that's useful when the unit needs to be lifted. 6. I have arthritic hands and this size at 12.50 lbs is better than my 15.50 lb vacuum. Cons: 1. The crevice tool and extension have to be nested before they will fit back on the machine. You can't just use the crevice tool by itself and slip it back into the extension too. Minor, but annoying. 2. It's not particularly loud, but it has an annoying sound that I've not heard in other vacuums. Kind of a gravely, jittery sound for want of a better description. 3. The 6' hose with extension and crevice tool reaches every place I need it to, but it has to be wriggled off the base AND pulled loose from a plastic hose holder because of the rear configuration. Because the hose is short, the vacuum does want to tip over. 4. Another design flaw is the placement of the crevice tool and extension. Can't just pull the crevice tool out to use, have to tip the extension out so the crevice tool won't hit the hose hanger. 5. This may be a personal preference, but I really like an on/off button on the handle rather than using a foot pedal. They did make it a different color but it's still sort of a pain to use. The vacuum I'm comparing it to is in exactly the same price range and has a retractable cord, power button on the handle, quick release button for the hose, longer hose, and no obstructions for the crevice tool or extension; easy to pop it in and out while using. That one is the Hoover Rewind 70120, and is the best vacuum I've ever owned aside from the heavier weight. ... show more
