I would have given this item a 5 instead of four, I ordered two white water dispenser but how could a seller missed out on white instead the seller gave l me a green water dispenser twice!!! Otherwise the water dispenser works for my birds.

Have had ones that look like these in the past and they last quite a while. This one is even thinner plastic. When you turn to lock it, the plastic is so thin it won't lock, just spins. Then spills. I'd take the green base kind over these as far as longevity. Those are thick durable plastic. This is a little thicker than a milk jug. Don't recommend at all.

The molding is really rough and uncleaned and it could cut your hand if you are not careful. It feels cheap and low quality production, but the plastic feels strong and does the job. I might spend some time myself to smooth out some of the sharp molding spikes.
