Unlike some who have posted about wrong or missing hardware I thankfully had absolutely no problems. I like the rest, it's a bit sturdier than I had expected but it's not heavy at all, just about 5lbs. The rest has hooks on the front and rear cradles but no straps were included. This is a nice value for someone who needs a simple gun rest. It holds my rifles where I need them without tipping over. Whether I’m cleaning, adjusting my scope or anything else, this is a good piece of equipment. I like that it’s adjustable for various sizes and configurations and suits all the basic needs. The quality is good, it’s lightweight and can be used for a variety of different functions. Great concept but several flaws. First, putting this together was easy until I came to the threads in one if the main tubes being stripped or not clean. The bolt would not screw in. Luckily I have a tap and die set and had to retap the hole then clean the threads on the bolt. Next for the function. It works great except the butt pad is easy too thick. I am a big person with very long length of pull. It is very hard to get into any position that you can accurately shoot. Great price though. Works great for my guns! If you are trying to use a large capacity mag you might run into some issues, but this thing is meant more for sighting in a scope and a large capacity mag shouldn't be required for that. Some people complained about rust, and mine did have a lot of rust power fall out of the tubing. I believe the rust powder comes from the hole drilling process and gets stuck in the tubing. Other than the dust that came out of the tubing, there are no signs of rust anywhere else on the unit and I have no concerns about this unit lasting many many years for me. There are no clamps to hold the unit to a table, but some sand bags work just fine. Take your time between shots to not move the unit around and you should be fine. I would for sure recommend one of these to anyone who is in need of an easy to use and very portable shooting rest. ... show more

    • Rifle butt will not fit rear of gun support, it's to narrow.

This is a Great Product except one thing. The rest is very stable, Luckily I had it on my bed and I put my Remington 770, 270 on it. The rifle fell off the side of the rest as the Rifle butt did not fit in the the rear groove. Could you imagine if I was at the range when this happened, The gun would have fallen on the concrete with No advance warning. So, I took out the rubber on the butt end of the rest, it was only held on by 5 very small pieces of rubber. ( Be careful to not break these). There are 3 at the bottom of the rubber groove and one nub for each upper curved part. Once this was removed, I took the plastic piece to my sander and ground both insides down. Now any rifle will fit it. Hopefully the company that makes these will fix this accident ready to happen. It might save a life. GOD BLESS and Stay Safe. ... show more
