These stir sticks are quite sturdy, long and wide enough that one stick gets the job done. I tried them in brewed coffee with sugar (Sugar In The Raw brand) and cream. It all dissolved fine. In fact you could reuse the same stick many times, as they don't disintegrate easily after use. The box comes wrapped in cellophane. You want that because you don't want to open the box and play a game of 1,000 stick pickup. The tips of the sticks are rounded instead of straight. That matters because rounded tips should cause less scratching on of your mugs painted or ceramic finishes.

Didn’t double check size but these ended up being amazing for resin. Amazing for getting resin to the sides while dining without pushing any over edge on accident.

In addition to an overall rating, the form asked me to rate these sticks. Sticks that stir coffee, on: Sturdiness Sheerness Value for Money. When it comes to sturdiness against coffee, they can withstand the pressure of the hot coffee as one uses a circular stirring motion. The stick remains straight and firm against the pressure. I typically stir for 3-4 seconds, but I could probably go on for minutes. 5 stars. Sheerness, I’m not going to lie. I had to look that one up. Sticks are not sheer, I thought. But, linguistics being what it is, turns out, sheer, 2a, states: clear form imperfections and good quality. So-oh, while these sticks are not translucent, let me tell you, when you envision a stir stick, open the box and examine the stick, no dirt, no bugs, like these things are what you’d expect a stir stick to be. I didn’t inspect the entire 1,000 but looked at 3 or 4 of them and decided, “you’ll do stick.” 5 stars. I’m not good at math. There are 1,000 sticks. I do know enough that you’d take the price paid, divided by the quantity of sticks. The number was below the lowest denomination of a US coin. So I stopped right there. I said, if I had to purchase on stick, the money value would be so low I couldn’t. That’s value folks. 5 stars. The description of the stick says great for the coffee nook. That is true. We put a portion of them in a mason jar, no lid, and we are proud of the French country aura they project in the nook.

The stir sticks themselves are of good quality, very uniform in length and are sturdy. I would give them 5 stars if it weren't for the flimsy plastic envelope they used in the shipping. My first order arrived and the box that the stir sticks were in was crushed in shipping and the sticks were scattered inside the envelope. Since these are used in food I was not going to use them in our breakroom and sent them back. In my opinion, Amazon returns are very painless and this was no exception and a new order was generated. I let them know the packaging they were using was not going to be able to deliver an intact product. I got the replacement order in exactly the same flimsy plastic shipping envelope and the results were almost the same. This time the box at least held together and the sticks were still bundled but the top and bottom were blown open when it was crushed during shipping. I will not purchase these again if they continue to use this kind of packaging. The plastic envelopes work well with clothing and such but are a poor choice to save a few cents when shipping items that could spill and be damaged. I would think it would cost more because of having to pay shipping to return and then reorder. Just do it right the first time. All this talk about being green but those plastic bags end up in the trash because no one locally will recycle them. At least the cardboard box I can put in a recycle bin.

This product was perfect for our office. It had the sturdiness we desired plus we loved that fact that these were eco-friendly. These days everyone in our office is very conscious of the amount and what we're disposing of. I will be ordering this again in the future for all our offices.
