These chairs have been very nice to have and work great at our small table for two. They fit easily under the table to take up less space and are comfortable and feel very sturdy when in use. They have held up well to near daily use and I haven't had any problems with them so far.

I 'inherited' a dining set, (i.e. my mom told me that I was going to take it when she downsized, lol), and while it's a decent set, it's not really my style. Since it's an antique, it's taken a lot of beatings from various generations of kids. The table has held up perfectly, but the chairs are high backed, rattan woven, missing some of the decorative posts on the tops, and the cushions are atrocious. I got some chair covers for them, but since they have an arch and some dips on the tops of the backs, the cushions are just a stopgap unless I decide to cut the tops flat and sew the chair covers to fit better. Which would be a lot of work. I've been looking for chairs and these seemed pretty nice, plus are low backed, which I hoped would help open up the small eat-in area, where this table is, better than the high-backed chairs, so I decided to give them a try. I have zero disappointments, except for the rattan being more yellow than I thought that it would be. But I'll just paint it if I decide that I dislike it that much. For now, it's neutral enough to work in my space, so I'm happy with it. The cushions are black velvet, soft, but firm, and in perfect condition. No loose threads, poor stitching, loose anything. They're finished perfectly. They're extremely high quality. The screw holes on the chair cushions are perfectly placed. The metal is all perfectly cut to suit the installation and all the screw holes are precisely cut. The backs of the chairs are black stained/painted wood with rattan inserts, and feel super sturdy. Again, precisely cuts screw holes, which is such a rarity now a days. I am so impressed by how perfectly cut the screw holes are. I barely had to look to install the screws, even with working with my hand out of sight under the cushion to install the screw through the metal frame and into the cushion. Every screw went in smoothly, without a single threat of cross threading. Do you know how rare that is? I'm poor, so I set up a lot of inexpensive furniture. While these two chairs aren't exactly inexpensive, I feel like the price is spot on for the quality. They include all the hardware and the Allen key, and everything is marked. The instructions are easy as pie. Install a cross bar, install the cushion, install the back, and done. Five minutes, max, and all of that is spend hand tightening, then tightening down the screws with the Allan key, because you don't have to search for screw holes or work them in several times due to cross threading or spend time squeezing things into place. It all just fits perfectly. They stand sturdy and are comfortable to sit in. And, like I'd hoped, the low backs only show for a few inches up past the table's edge, which is a standard, dining height table. Because these are low-backed, I could immediately see the difference in how the space looked versus the two high backed chairs that I kept until I can get another set of these in to serve as new seating all the way around the table. The space looked much larger, much cleaner, much more organized. The seat cushions are wider than I thought they'd be, but shallower than my high-backed chairs, though only by a few inches. They fit much better under the table's edge than my existing chairs. The low back is more comfortable than the high-backed chairs, as this low back panel has a slight angle. It's perfect to lounge in at the table or even in the sunroom or on the patio, and I was comfortable sitting sideways with an arm dangling over the back. I am super impressed with these chairs. I will buy again to complete the set at my table. These are super high quality and very easy for anyone to assemble. Instructions are one-two-three, sit, hardware is included with extra screws and an Allen key for each chair, and these are gorgeous once put together. I would highly recommend these chairs to anyone needing new seating, as these are nice enough to be accent chairs in the living area or on the porch.

I was pleased by how easy these chairs were to assemble. I was able to put them together quickly and encountered no issues with any of the holes or parts. The chairs are also sturdier and more comfortable than expected. I wouldn’t call them lounge chairs but they are relatively comfy for dining chairs. The cushions are firm and feels like they will hold up for quite a while. However, the cane parts of the chairs were a little more yellow than I thought they would be. Not a dealbreaker but still unexpected. The black velvet feels nice and soft. They seem pretty durable and we’re happy with them.
