  • Better than my old Pioneer.
This stereo is pretty dang good for the cost of it. The sound quality isn't quite as good as my old Pioneer double din that I took out however it packs a ton of features so I happily take the trade off. Install was pretty straight forward and the screen is awesome. Backup cam is clear and the responsiveness to touch is really good. It does only have one channel for amp output so you will need a Y splitter if you have a factory amp and your rear speakers will play exactly what your front ones do however I am not going for a crazy bumping stereo. This one doesn't sound bad at all, just not what I would have wanted when I was 16 as far as volume. It has failed to connect only a few times and has ran pretty glitch free overall. Allows you to play Netflix/Amazon etc and is full on apple car play. Helped bring my old truck into the new age. Great stereo for the cost. ... show more

  • Tech Support is amazing
The Binize 10 has many features that you would only expect at a higher price point. The screen is very bright and has great response with touch points for apps on screen. The best thing about this unit is the number of functions available in this unit. The slim form build of this unit allowed me to have a custom bracket made to install it in my classic car. I was able to engineer the bracket to hide my car radio and have it swing down out of sight for safety, The Binize has all the connections available to connect to a high-end amplifier, including a woofer. The sound is terrific, something you would only get with a more expensive unit. I was able to install a license plate backup camera in my 1963 model, along with a CD player which gives it studio sound. The best part is being able to hook up my android phone with Bluetooth and have all the features you have with a newer car. Tech support was amazing when I had a problem. The Binize unit has a multitude of features for this price and is a great value. ... show more

  • Good Unit with Carplay
I bought this unit and am very happy with it. Pros: 1. Huge screen. My Honda Odyssey has 8 inch back up screen. I thought 8 inch is enough. No! It’s 10 inch. Huge! My friends saw this unit and said, “Is it Tesla?” Ha Ha. It’s bright enough under the Sun. I have attached pictures. I recommend better rear view camera for better quality. I bought $20ish camera, but the picture quality was so poor at night. It has 140° View Adjustable Angle, but has a small sensor. I returned it and bought $37 camera. It has 1/2.7 inch large sensor chip made in Japan,170 degree wide view angle. I am very satisfied with it. The picture quality at night is amazing with this screen. 2. Carplay. It works flawlessly. I’m using Google map through Carplay. Very helplful. 3. Good sound. Comparing to my previous Sony unit, it has better sound. More clear than Sony. Cons: 1. I wish it could adjust its parking grid within this unit. My previous Sony has that function, so I could adjust parking grid without adjusting camera itself. Without this function, it is almost impossible to match its parking grid with street curb. 2. It has a stability issue in connecting phone and the unit. Sometimes it lost connection. To reconnect, I had to reset the unit. It is annoying. I highly recommend this unit. You cannot go wrong with this unit. However, I cannot say it is easy to install, but worth a try. ... show more

  • I want to like it BUT…
This is a step up from stock. The radio sounds good and controls are friendly after you muddle through some of the setups. Easily installed in my 02 Explorer, simply drilling 4 lateral holes into the stock bezel trim pice and screw into the radio (had to dremel 2 nubs on the radio to fit in the hole and had to find longer screws). Wiring was easy but the orange wire wasn’t explained well…it’s for the button backlighting. The screen is too bright for nighttime and not enough dimming. Day lighting is good and I don’t have glare. Downloaded a free dimming app that toned it down. Now the big BUT….it only connected to car play twice now it won’t connect saying it was “inactivated”. One drawback is when you are in car play the radio function disappears! The standard gps (google maps) is not great and WAZE was really glitchy. I had hoped to to use the iPhone navigation but again it won’t wirelessly CarPlay. Update: it is now connecting to zlink/CarPlay (seems I have to open my iPhone settings/Bluetooth every time I get in the car for it to connect). While in CarPlay I didn’t like that the radio function would stop - a work around was to download iHeartRadio radio and actually kind of liking it better as I can have a screen with radio and podcasts!. I still can’t get it to screen mirror with my iPhone? Much happier having struggled to work out the bugs. ... show more
