I mower is well built. It starts very easily. Was easy to assemble. I like the mower very much. I live in tampa fl and st. augustine is the grass of choice. Unfortunately,it can not be adjusted high enough for our st. augustine grass . I have the mower on its tallest setting. I have tried mowing three times. The mower sinks into the grass. Mows it to low for a heathy and a nice looking lawn. It looks shaved compared to my neighbors' lawns. Prior, I have used two different mowers (very popular brands) without an issue. I assumed this mower would work the same. It is not returnable, so for less then half price someone is going to get a great mower used only three times. This lawnmower would barly start and when I finally got it to run it fell apart on the first day. The motor cover broke off from the vibration amd the front right wheel just popped off and won't go back on..

    • Few things could be better out of the box

The mower arrived fast and on the initially said date, came new and undamaged despite very basic packaging. Started up right away (oil is on you). What I like about it: it is simple, powerful, inexpensive. What I did not like about it: - Hight adjustment handle doesn’t go all the way down, like two steps, despite the wheels are at the lowest. As the result, the highest setting is still low, by those two steps that were off if not more. Had to place adjuster handle beyond the mechanism to get acceptable hight. Will have to tinker with it next spring when the grass comes back. - Advertised as 2 in 1, this mower does not have a shutter for the side discharge. Another design flaw, I had to make a cover in order to actually mulch these fall leaves. - And finally, the pricing. I thought it was marked as Prime Deal on October 10-11. Now, less than a week after ‘big sale event’, it is priced lower. I feel that such tactics are dishonest, both for the Seller and Amazon. They should auto match price for 30 days like Temu, or be honest when advertise ‘sale’ price. I can make this mower work, but overall experience doesn’t go above 3 stars for me. ... show more
