Why did you pick this product vs others?: The more I've used this safe, the more I appreciate how well it's made. The biometric fingerprint reader is terrific and fast, and very easy to set up with fingerprints as well as the keycode. Unlike most safes that give you a series of beeps to interpret, this one has a female voice that steps you through the process, telling you how to access the menus and responding to your input. When it's finalyl set up, and you unlock the door, her voice will say "Welcome." To which I always add, "... professor" because she sounds like Cerebro from the X-Men films. The safe is very well protected and self-illuminated once you open the door. A shelf on the top gives room for secondary items, while the main level has multiple pins (removable) for about four pistols, or a stack of important paperwork or valuables. If your pistols have a red-dot sight at the top, there isn't enough room to keep them upright. You'll tilt them at an angle to make them fit, which isn't awful, but a larger model may be better. I don't believe the safe is fireproof, but it is absolutely solid. You might want to anchor it to your floor to prevent theft... I have it on my nightstand and the smallest one is quite large for the space, but it does work. However, there's no mistaking that this is a safe and not some fancy nightstand clock. Overall-- excellent safe. Would buy again.

I’ve been using this safe for a little while now and I really like it. It feels solid, the door and keypad feel well made, and everything worked as expected right out of the box. I have 6 handguns, they all fit inside, this size comes with 4 pistol pins. I keep 4 on the pins and the other 2 on the upper shelf. I can still fit some ammo in there as well, but it does get a little crowded once everything is in there. If you have around 4 handguns, I think this size is pretty much perfect and you’ll still have room for ammo or other stuff. With 6 handguns, I probably would’ve been better off going with the 1.4 cu. ft. version. I knew this one had 4 pins when I bought it and figured I could make the space work, which I can, but now that I’ve actually loaded everything in, I’d rather have the extra room and 6-pin setup. Setup was easy and the fingerprint reader is what I use 90% of the time. It opens quickly and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. I also turned on auto lock and really like that feature. I can just shut the door and walk away without having to remember to lock it. The inside light is also surprisingly useful at night. I’m happy with it. Good quality, nice design, and easy to use. If I were buying again, I’d get the same one, just the 1.4 cu. ft. size for my 6 handguns.

There wasn't specific measurement details so most importantly for the 1 cubic ft. size, the internal dimensions are shown in the pics (approx. 11.5in x 11.5in x 10in) BUT keep in mind the opening of the doorway is smaller so if u are trying to fit something that doesn't bend, u have to take the more narrow opening into consideration. I have a chromebook in the safe in the pics and it's exactly 11.5in wide (11.5inx8.5in) so it JUST fits from back to front w/ the pistol holders unscrewed (the black plastic holders up against the back wall stick out about ½in so it JUST fits as u can see from the pics. Even tho the inside is about 11.5in left to right, the door opening is only about 10in so it wouldn't fit in sideways. The door only opens 90 degrees so the opening is more narrow. It's definitely spacious inside and suits my needs. The weight of it I would guess is around 25-28lbs, sturdy feeling, definitely not flimsy or cheap. The inside is lined w/ felt and the shelf is sturdy. The light is just enough and a nice feature. It comes with the keys in the packing foam, thats wrapped around the door. The rest of the items are locked inside: manuals (product guide & bluetooth/app guide), batteries, USB plug, mini screwdriver, extra screw, hardware to bolt safe down. The set up was very easy, manuals are very thorough, keypad menus are simple & voice guide is nice, I encountered no issues. The multiple unlock options are great (keys, fingerprints, passcode, app) plus having the USB plug for backup in the case the batteries die is a bonus. The keypad is great quality...the keys are soft touch rubber, very responsive, and having them back-lit is very helpful. The LCD screen is lit up, easy to read, w/ the date and time stamp as its default screen, and simple settings menus. I like that the keys don't beep but have a nice soft "water droplet" sound effect when pushed. The voice guide is simple & effective, not too loud, and gives it a sophisticated feel. It's also nice that it does have "silent mode" as an option. The fingerprint screen is large enough to capture ur fingerprint w/o any issues. It responds quickly (faster than inputting a 6 digit code & enter button) and gives a voice confirmation, as well as green or red light, which is nice if u prefer silent mode. I like that the keyhole is hidden behind a rubber tab that's attached, as I've seen on some others it's a removable plastic piece that ends up getting lost. I also like that theres no knob to turn, when the door unlocks, u just pull it open w/ the built-in "handle" under the keypad (there's an indented space to pull the door open). Another nice feature, that was not noted in the description, and I asked but was given incorrect information by another customer, is there IS the option of auto-lock OR manual lock. The default is manual lock, where u have to hold the "lock" button down for 2-3sec on the keypad after closing the door. The auto-lock can be enabled in the settings menu and the door automatically locks for u after its closed. I prefer the auto-lock function. The app is very basic and really only serves to unlock the safe thru the "unlock" button in the app, view battery level, and unlock history. The rest of the "settings" are the same as the keypad and to enter the settings section on the app, u have to be near the safe to input ur fingerprint or passcode into the keypad on the safe, so it's kind of pointless that aspect of it. It would be nice if the app would use ur devices biometrics settings. It would be nice if the app added more features such as push notifications for low battery, if someone is attempting to open the safe (incorrect entries) or someone does open the safe, the ability to activate silent mode, maybe different sounds, etc. But it does have what's needed at least, which is more than many others, and it's nice to have the additional method of unlocking, battery status and unlock history, which is super important. Overall, it's definitely high quality and I'm very happy with my decision. I did get it on sale during Prime day so I got a great deal on the price but even if I had paid full price I would say it was well worth it. I highly recommend it.

Very solid safe for the money and a great value.(I tried to post a bunch of pics for you guys to see everyting). You can open it with a key, pin number or a fingerprint. The fingerprint function works very reliably which is nice and rarely do I have to do it twice it usually it works on first try but I am sure the times I have to do it twice its because of my finger placement. It has a nice screen that shows you information like the time function battery level etc.. Not many other safes in this price range have an actual screen like this so that's pretty awesome. It has a removable shelf, interior light and it has a voice that tells you what's happening. Like safe closed, safe open etc.. Also the Phone app works great! It is super fast and simple to use to open the safe and I had no problem pairing or setting it up. It has 2 mounting holes in the back to screw or bolt it to a wall. They include 2 large anchor screws as well as 2 short bolts that are only long enough to mount it to sheet metal maybe about 1/4" thick MAX. If you need something more you can just use any nuts bolts or screws for your specific application. The safe includes 4 piston pin type mounts ( see pics) they are removable if you dont need them. All in all im very happy with the safe. It is well built for a safe in this price range and the features and reliability are top class. You can get this safe and feel confident it will work and open when you need it to which is important to all of us.

Awesome handgun safe. You have multiple options for how you store your guns in this. One option is store them standing straight up and ready to use but resting on a barrel rod. I’m all for firearm safety and preventing access for those that shouldn’t have access to the guns. However I also believe that if you have to grab your gun in the middle of the night from a sound sleep, that the trigger on the gun should be covered to help prevent a negligent discharge. If a noise startles you (and they can) your guns trigger should at least be covered momentarily until you can remove it from the safe. This is vital especially if your handgun doesn’t have an external safety and some of them do. The ease of setting the safe up is clearly explained and easy to follow. There’s not only printed instructions but you can also access a video to learn it if you aren’t sure. Build quality is SOLID and well designed. There is multiple ways to access the safe not only with a key but also a numerical code, multiple fingerprints, and even a phone app. Plus the phone app also lets you know the battery power level. Love that feature. This is a great buy and the safe is well made. Highly recommend.

We just got this safe.. so far we love it. (Only have my baby gun in it so far. 😂 There are 3 ways to open. Fingerprint, code & key. Key bc ode pad either takes battery or type-C charger (definitely never seen that before). Quality is pretty good. Not SentrySafe quality but still good. It fits 4 guns up right and has a top shelf for bullets or other valuables. Clear instructions on how to program code or fingerprint. Very fast & easy to access inside for the God Forbid moments. Comes with 2 keys, type-C charging cords, concrete bolts, screw driver to access battery panel, & 4 AA batteries. You can also make key pad silent so you don’t warn intruders your getting a gun to shot them for breaking in. Definitely a good idea to make quiet. Noise on key pad isn’t needed in my opinion. I don’t think it’s fire proof bc side walls are kind of thin so main valuables I’d get a main fire proof safe but will work for protection guns and easy access valuables. Have already recommended to others
